It's interesting how the original lines weren't made to be in a song, yet the creator of that song did a good job of putting it together. You've taken it to the next step, you've sung the song as an actual, well, song!
I imagine being drunk at a bar listening to you play songs all night...and then out of the blue you play this and I make a huge scene while my friends have no idea why I'm so excited.
Just saying... great job! Save it for a gig, I bet there will be at least one geek in the audience that will just be blown away.
@jgquinton LOL ... I haven't tried it out live yet, but I definitely want to. If that exact scene were to transpire though, I doubt I could make it through the song. :)
@goguess Thanks! Although, I think maybe you're referring to the Symphony of Science project in general which I actually don't have a part in. I just do my part to take the material and convert it to live music. At any rate, I love the SoS project too, and the more people who get into it, the better!
@crimulus I am working on a series of videos where my students teach different topics in science. How awesome would it be for you to do some magic with them???!!
@rnistuk I'm not really sure how to go about doing that, but even if I did, I do not have permission to do anything with the song commercially, so I'd have to talk with Mr. Boswell (the creator of the SoS project) about it.
You're like a scientist version of tenacious D

I liked the fact that you covered this song. You simplified the melody in places which was a shame but generally I liked it. Good job :>

Great work, but I think the whole might have been better if you would have done the chorus softly.
