I love The Jovi and defend them against all critics, but to be frank, this song was average at best. Generic, bland and so overproduced.

It's clearly one of the songs intended for The Circle that just didn't make the cut. Unfortunately, it should have remained in the editing room and never released to the public.

@DancinJim Yup I agree! I didn't like most of The Circle. Bon Jovi is now what i call Pop (fluff). Have to produce what sells though... the band my son is in signed to Warner had to sell out too and play Pop (fluff) AND was forced to change the lyrics in their newest release Oct 12 because they were racy... since when is the word sex racy? Anyway now the song don't make as much sense nor is it as powerful. Yet Warner allows Avenged Sevenfold use REALLY bad words in Nightmare. Go Figure!

Awesome song, Loved The Circle (Happy Now, Loves the Only Rule) but it should've had more songs like this. Reminds me of Have a Nice Day album. This WILL be a big hit, it's being promoted well. Tour is going to be insane.

There are 6 or 7 very good songs on the circle but the rest are b-sides as we used to call them. Hence the band have written these 4 new tracks. This song hits the pre-chorus/pre-solo far too son and is very predictable.

@AshArcherMusic this song is lame and the slide solo misses the mark by a long way. the song is overproduced but under thought out at the same time. The production is too intense for such a short song and I was worn out by the end, after such a velvety smooth Sambora intro...please take your time in future guys in the studio, this is you legacy and stop letting the managers and record co execs rush you into jumpin from one project to the next so fast.

It is very Jovi and every now and then I hear parts of Kidnap an Angel and Real Life but overall this song is way better sounding to me. I can also hear a little of superman tonight in it as well. But I'm sure this is going in my top ten songs by them.
