A piece that is meant to be played slowly and with expression would be marked adagio con esspresione, not presto which is what czerny orginally indicated.

I think is a good speed, it coul be faster but only if it's played right. I've heard other performances that are faster but they take all the beauty off of the study... and all the technic is in danger if the player can't do it in the right speed.

well actually piano isn't all but speed!! a song can be much more artistic and nicer if it's in a slower tempo!!

its good and everything but it should go MUCH FASTER...This is the tempo i use for practeising not playing... its really slow
