Great song! I'm just wondeing why Chicago rejected to record it as a band in full format. I'm also amazed with the perfoenamce of Hailey Barker- the girl on the thrombobe! It is an unique case, when a woman perfectly plays such a difficult and typically "men's" instrument, demanding lungs power.
@scribbled309 - You are absolutely correct! The voice is better than ever!!! In fact, his range has extended and improved over the years and I have followed Robert for over 35 years now. He sounds just like he did back on "Skinny Boy" his 1974 solo album. Pure, crystal clear and full of emotion! No deteriation here friends!!! You must be blind (scribbled309) as a good chunk of CHICAGO in on stage with him. Lee Loughnane (Chicago's trumpet player) / Jason Scheff (vocals and bass) + Tris on drums.
@yur1bgw9i No, I am not blind... While I realize RL uses individual Chicago members in studio and on tour, I distinguish that from the actual band Chicago. RL's solo work is dictated by his vision and his vision alone, without the endless compromises and pandering that (in my opinion) have turned the band into a sad shell of its former self. (cont'd)
@scribbled309 (cont'd) As to their contributions here, though I'm not a fan of Tris he's fine here, as is Jason, as long as he sticks to bass and back-ups. Lee is the other Chicago member who has aged especially well: his solo work in particular is much more fluid and assured than it was back in the day.
@scribbled309 - Totally agree with everything you said! I am with you 1000%!!! It is sad that the band has changed so much and even RL himself was the first to agree that the current mutation of CHICAGO is simply that....a great bunch of musicians but totally doesn't have any of the cohesiveness and vocal color that it once did. A sad shell indeed! Have a great weekend and nice talking with you!!!
@scribbled309 - Jason is one of the most inconsistent vocalists when he performs live that I have ever heard. He is absolutely AMAZING in the recording studio but live just doesn't cut it like I would like. Why they let Keith Howland sing is beyond me...he simply is not a singer. BUT they let him sing more and more. Go figure!
OMG! He NEVER gives less than his all. Besides he's sexy as h*ll (!) Never takes a bad photo aside from being an outstanding singer, performer, songwriter. THanks for the post! WOW...oh WOW!

@dbrylinski You could not be more wrong. RL's voice is getting better by the year. Wish I could say the same about the rest of the band.
