I just got the complete series of Friends in the mail. I got the separate digi packs, not the set, but it was the best deal EVER...$65. I saw that price on ebay and bought it instantly. They're in perfect condition too. :D

Nope each character holds like 8 discs or something. They're not best of they've just used each character to hold the discs. Like 2 seasons per character.

Hey Fran, I can't tell you the features off by heart and my boxset is in storage right now as I'm moving :( it does have features for every season though including commentaries, featurettes, trivia games etc. Region 1 is the only set with all these features plus the big book you get!

Thank you for showing the friends set. I bought it on wednesday and I've been waiting to see what it's like. I originally had each individual season but I loved how the big boxset looked so I gave them away to a good friend and now I'm dying for this to come in. My fav seasons are 2, 3 and 4.

your prisonner cell block II is just incredible, it's a little expensive (you cannot buy more dvds for a period of time lol) but for 171 discs it's a good compromise

Emma i love prisoner i used to stay up late 2 in mornin to watch it on itv, i was wondering how much is the prisoner cell block H boxset.

Cool, same as me lol. This boxset was very expensive its like 171 discs! It costs around £600 sometimes more sometimes less but it would cost so much more than that to buy them individually so I saw it as an investment lol.

The UK have just released volume 1, 8 discs of the first 32 episodes which you can get for about £25 online which I think is very good! Hopefully they'll release them all.

My mum used to watch Prisoner Cell Block H but I was never into it. It came on TV a lot in the 90's. Friends is just a classic TV show. I miss it. I remember when they showing them in order on C4 but now they're all over the place.

And what are you gong to do when DVD's go out and blue tay takes over? you have so many DVD'S I don't know if or when DVD players will no longer be made but it will happen sometime nice video.

No I haven't switched to Blu yet. I don't have any desire to at the moment. I sometimes download Blu-ray rips and they do look stunning most of the time but its not enough for me at the moment. DVDs will live forever no matter what, they'll always play on BR players and their will always be some films that never come to BR so I'm not too worried about it.

Yah I agree I like DVD'S myself with movie downloads available I could just do that but I would rather just have a good old DVD What is good is that even regular DVD's can be up converted to 720p or 1080i via some DVD players that have this feature.

I just don't think that blu-ray interests enough people who are not like dvd fanatics (like us) who are not particularly bothered about higher quality or even know what blu-ray is, it's too expensive and complicated, Personally I would rather stay with DVD

I would stay with DVD too just so long as I can see the moovie. Hey DVD'S have 5.1 suround all blue ray is just a higher capacity disc that is more expensive like you say. just like soudio We have CD's and mp3 but i still like vinyl Records. Not that I don't have CD's yah I do have CD's also. and I have an ipod. I never move to a new format not unless if I have to. We need to speak up and let the entertainment industries that we want DVD'S to stay for ever.

The Prisoner box is a beast :D! It looks awesome, all those discs! I haven't seen any of that show but I imagine its gunna feel wierd when you stop watching it after all those episodes.

The R1 set of friends you have is so much nice than the R2, I saw the region 2 in Zavvi yesterday for £55! I was very tempted to get it, I've kinda watched to much friends and gone off it, but I regret not getting it now :(

I HATE that so many of our sets have the features stripped. What's the reason?! I have to research every time I buy a TV show weather I have to import it if its featureless. GRR.

I had UK editions before this and the only ones with special features were S5 I think, they had 2 small features about when the show came over to London.
