  • Well, this is the problem, I'm tryin to find a recipe where you don't have to use veg shortening cos not all countries stock that item in the supermarkets.

  • @Cuban111000 lol thanks :D

  • hi nicko used a different ratio..... i have been seeing all these videos and this recipe has the same quantity cocoa and milk powder

  • Ok Guys, Calm your backsides. Just because two different guy's made chocolate, do you all realise how silly this all sounds? NEITHER of them made the recipe so one did NOT copy from the other. I'm reading through these and seeing 'YOU MADE THIS BECAUSE HE MADE IT STOP STEALING YOU COULD GO TO JAIL' ...Are you actually joking? Seriously? OH NO THIS GUY MADE A VIDEO ABOUT MAKING CHOCOLATE, WHAT ABOUT EVERY OTHER CHOCOLATE PRODUCT OUT THERE EVER MADE! HE COULD GO TO JAIL! Just. Calm yo' tit's.

  • @TehCharlotte lol so true. Some people are a bit odd sometimes. :D

  • that's more like "How to make a stolen recipe" :D! You stole this from nicko's kitchen, don't deny it,the dates prove it too,Asshole.

  • @XxEikox lol Nicko didn't make this recipe up. If you think he did you are foolish. This is a recipe that has been used for decades by hundreds of people from around the world.

  • whats copha called in uk?

  • or you go into a supermarket and get some chocolate

  • @Lovealot0405 Yes but you can go into a supermarket or go out for all your meals & never cook anything :)

  • Hi there,

Can you advise, I am looking for a Dairy & Sugar Free way to make chocoalte

    250 Grams ( 8.8 ounces ) of Vegetable shortening

250 Grams ( 8.8 ounces ) of Pure iceing sugar - CAN I REPLACE THIS WITH XYLITOL??

    12 Tablespoons of Cocoa

12 Tablespoons of Milk powder - WHAT CAN I REPLACE THIS WITH?? MUST ALSO BE GLUTEN FREE

    Pinch of salt

Thank you look forward to hearing from you

  • @ragingreunions You you can replace Pure Icing sugar with XYLITOL. You cam replace the milk powder with coconut power :)

  • can we use butter instead of shortening?

  • @skayc1 No :(

  • is it possible to use a piper to make little figures with that chocolate? with coloring and all that?

  • @crzzymofat6 Sure :)

  • I was just wondering do you know how to fillit and cook fish because i was thinking maybe yo could make a video about it if your ok with that.

  • @darkorso101 I don't fillet fish :(

  • I just have to say that your coking skills are so good.

  • @darkorso101 Thanks :)

  • @SimpleCookingChannel looks yummy

  • @kimberscraps It is :)

  • Sure.

  • That's exactly the same recipe as nickos kitchen

  • @meekiebell It's not exactly the same & Nicko did not invent chocolate :)

  • @meekiebell lol nacko's kitchen..

  • @ImmSilence No, nicko stole it from the top google search result for "homemade chocolate recipe", just search, look at the recipe, and the "instructions", he even repeated them.. And it doesnt even taste good.

  • @meekiebell lol.... its obviously the same guy..

  • @meekiebell Yes! I don't understand.... isn't he ashamed?!....

he just stole the original recipe and just made it even in a worse way...

  • @LadyVerunca Who did i steal this from? Don't say Nicko. He didn't make this recipe for chocolate up. The is a recipe that i was taught 15 years ago. This recipe like most recipes are copied. This recipe would be more than 100 years old :D

  • @SimpleCookingChannel Yet you and Nicko's video are...COMPLETELY same,You even knocked on the chocolate and such,So you did see his video, and then had the idea to copy it ;) even though not the recipe,Maybe for views? :P

  • @XxEikox I was made aware of Nicko's video after i uploaded mine. If you watched both videos you would see that the quantities in both are different. I do not have to answer to you or anyone for any recipe i upload. If you are in love with Nicko just tell him.

  • so do you think that you could make another video of making chocolate. you dont have to but it would be nice if you would.

  • @darkorso101 lol i don't think i will. I don;t want to make two videos showing the same thing :)

  • What is lard ?

  • @kbonsaksen It's pig fat :)

  • Lard is made of poke and we are vegeterrain.. dont even eat egg... can u suggest vegeterrain version to be used instead of lard / copha

  • @gatimkejriwal1 I have no idea what else you could use :(

  • @SimpleCookingChannel a vegetable shortening is the substatute for lard since that is a by product of pork. you could also adjust the amount of sugar in it and you could also use true cocoa butter which is what chocolate is made from. This way you could also make your own chocolate transfer sheets to decorate your cakes or candies with

  • @gatimkejriwal1 vegetable shortening can be used or true cocoa butter is the true test this is what chocolate is really made of. give both a try and see which you like best. Also you can adjust the sugar to make it bittersweet to sweet increase the cocoa butter decrease the sugar or vise versa

  • @gatimkejriwal1 COCONUT OIL? Just don't know, but a little idea..

  • you copy it from nikko aren't you?

  • @alcearguelles No. Do you think Nicko invented chocolate?

  • @SimpleCookingChannel

I think the reason people think you copied Nicko is because your pan and lining is the same and you knocked on the chocolate in the same way and made some of the same sounds about your chocolate. Your video seems to be the same, but like you said Nicko did not invent chocolate. Thanks for sharing with us. Can never have too many informative videos regarding chocolate. :-)

  • @TellaBling lol that's pretty funny if that's the case. I knock on it to show it's hard & that is the pan & lining i use as you need to use that kind of stuff :D

  • I live in Norway and we don't have Copha... What can i use?

  • @kbonsaksen Lard :)

  • @kbonsaksen Oh, Hei.

  • @PlainSeason Jepp, sikkert ;) som Rimi, Rema.. C:

  • @kbonsaksen Delfiafett Kokos Fett fungerer sikkert også bra :D

  • isnt there antother way to make chocolate

  • @darkorso101 There are many ways :)

  • 250g of fat

what you know about obesity :L

  • @ant05ginge Can you please repeat that? Your grammar isn't very good. I'm not sure what you are saying :)

  • I like this one better then nikko's nikko didnt give precise amounts

  • give me the raicapies

  • I just made this using half of everything, but it didn't turn out nearly as smooth as yours did. I used exactly half of everything. The consistency is somewhere between chocolate and fudge, but more on the chocolate side. Tips on getting it smoother?

  • @moltiin Interesting. I have used this recipe for more than 10 years & it always comes out smooth. I'm not sure what to suggest :(

  • thnks for the reply but please can u let me know the procedure for dark chocolate as well... Ill check if ill get Lard available in India... can butter do instead of Lard? (Indian butter has salt in it so do we need to add salt if we can use butter?)

  • @gatimkejriwal1 For dark chocolate don't add the powdered milk. Leave that part out & only put in 150 grams of pure icing sugar :) Butter won't work.

  • @SimpleCookingChannel... Thanks for the reply...which choco powder and milk powder you prefer.. we have nestle choco powder and milk powder will that do? Will check copha or Lard available in India - Mumbai let see...My 1st anniversary is on 12th Feb so i hope ill be able to make some good stuff...

  • @gatimkejriwal1 Yes those one's are fine. I use Cadbury or Nestle :)

  • It is so nice but I left it in there For 2 hours like you said and I lift it out of the tray and let's say it went every where and only then did it set

  • @maxicool111 That's strange mine will be set in 1 hour but 2 to be safe :)

  • I am from India what should I use instead of Copha? and the procedure shown by you is for dark chocolate or milk chocolate? Do you have procedures for making milk chocolates?

  • @gatimkejriwal1 This is for milk chocolate. You can use Lard if you can find some instead of copha :)

  • Im choclate horny

  • It didn't work for me... :(

  • @jackjack2259 You must have done something wrong. Follow my instructions & it will work :)

  • We do have cophar in the U.S we just call it margarine. go to the part in a grocery store where you would find butter sticks. You will also find margarine sticks.

  • @ten40tv Margarine is not copha. You need vegetable shortening. :)

  • Can we use butter in stead of coffa because I live in the us there is no coffa

  • @asomegirl93 You can't use butter but you can use crisco :)

  • does it taste like dark chocolate or milk chocolate?

  • @kaurpoiss1 Milk chocolate :)

  • Can I use regular butter instead of vegetable shortening?

  • @akaTheWave No :)

  • @SimpleCookingChannel but what if you dont live in Australia? there isnt copha in AMERICA, NY

  • @dancehyperness Copha is just the brand name for vegetable shortening. It's called crisco in America. You should be able to find Crisco in the USA :)

This recipe has been in my family for over 15 years & most people i know around that world that make chocolate use this recipe with little variations. Are you in love with Nicko or something?

  • @SimpleCookingChannel

jesus man you are not making me like you anymore than i did with that attitude

  • @ChocolateMadness5000 I'm not here to please you :P

  • @ChocolateMadness5000 This recipe has also been in my family for a VERY long time... and every time I eat it, I say yummo! Am I a Nicko imposter? OMG I NEVER KNEW. Everyone says yummo, and a lot of people know how to make chocolate. Far out.

  • @SimpleCookingChannel If u add just a bit more salt than nikko that does not make a difference u ass wipe. make up ur own recipes up

  • @Maxtwothousand lol you think Nicko made this recipe up? I add different quantities of powdered milk. This recipe has been in my family for 15 years.

  • Just because two people cook the same way doesnt mean one stole it from the other -_-

  • @ruscious That's right :)
