Excuse me, but what does Shazadi mean? Is it the name of your group? I saw all dance of this group, they are realy very very wonderful!!!!!!!!!! Especially I like this dance. Tabla is amazing!!!! And I wanted to ask you for help, could you tell me the name of the tabla-the second music, please? I like it soooooo much!
This is Sumra, this is the troupe I dance in and direct, Shahravar is a lovely dancer and a friend of mine who posted this. This dance is a cheorgrahpy I did a few years ago, I believe the table is Siad Mirad, I will check, A loose intrepretation of the name Shazadi means of royality... Glad you liked the dance...
I posted my comments on this video 6 months ago, after already having watched and shared it for some time. This is still my favorite performance, and I keep coming back. The veil work is flawless. The skill and beauty of the dancers is enviable. I wanna dance like *her* when I grow up! =)
Well done. It's effective to have some of the trasitions predicatble and others not. Usually if you can come up with interesting changes - they all are suprising and then the peice looks chaotic. Having some simplicity mixed keeps the traffic patterns fun to watch. The four of you filled the stage well. Nicely done. This is good choreography.
...Wow! I just happened across this video and was VERY impressed. Having studied middle eastern dance for 7+ years I can tell you these girls know their stuff! the veil was beautiful and the placement changes looked proffessional. I liked the way they interpreted the music! I will be keeping this in favorites for sure!
Excellent job! I was thoroughly entertained! You all were right on cue and it shows that you all put alot of hard work into perfecting this choroegraphy. Bravo! Hope to see you live one day.
I really enjoyed that! I will have to be honest and tell you that I was watching to watch Ansuya's performance. But this was really nice! Great job! I hope you ladies are still dancing together. I see that this performance was from 2 years ago. Anywho, take care!

Ecellent performance, ladies! Wonderful costumes, too. The long fringe really plays up the hip movements.
