If I remember correctly the grasshopper enemy in Commande Yammark stage can be killed permantly. The first time you "kill" them it just turn into a hologram but they die when you kill them the second time (after they turn back into a grasshopper again).

To kill the 'Grasshopper Robot' use the saber to kill instead of a buster shot... Buster shot are weak compared to the blade... Thats why this game is got armoured upon Samurai like warriors or Ninja like hunter... Its different from Gaia armor and Falcon Armor

I really wish they'd done something different about x6's powerup parts. Like if you fail to rescue the reploids they should stay infected, but if you kill them they drop a nightmare soul that contains the powerup, but you don't get the health upgrade and 1up that you would otherwise. (Yeah its kind of a 1 sided choice but it'd also be a moral choice element) Also you'd be able to at least get every part, and maybe level up your rank a little faster...

Shit, X5 had some stupid easy bosses too. Dark dizzy gets raped by Zero. Even without him all he does is fly around the room. I hated X5, its forgettable and borrowed way too much from older series (even from the SAME series, come on Capcom). Axle the Red's stage had those stupid vines that you cant destroy as well as one right ON the little hook line that is a beginners trap like in this video with not being able to see below you. So I don't think X5 is better than X6.

I usually play as regular X. In Yammark, Wolfang, Sheldon, and Mijinion. The other stages, I play as Falcon, Scaravich mainly because they're parts where you need to air dash.

@BrianD0313 It's more of the fact the game is sloppy, and literally impossible if you don't have certain things. If you're doing an unarmored run, you need two specific parts, or you can't make it through the first of Gate's stages.

Armored runs require the Ninja Armor, or you just are not getting through.

Zero has it a tad easier, but it's still downright unfair.
