i'm just saying he didn't have any real competition on the net. I play against guys that hit like this on a regular basis. I see this almost everyday. And yes I can do what he did, with a full block, so no I'm not overly shocked and oh ah. He's a damn good hitter, with some ups and a good swing.

But there are no professional VB players in the world that I know of that put their actual waist at the net. Some of the absolute highest jumpers can get pretty much get their chest fully above the net, but there's about 7-8 inches more before i'd call it their waste. Btw, you can't judge on a picture taken from above the net, cuz then i've seen someone with their knees over the net...
@epiplp6 Nope, that's called a guy taking a picture from behind the court and elevated 15 feet above the actual height of the net, with a guy hitting on the opposite side so it looks like their waist is actually at the net. I don't know of many (or any) who get higher than say Marshall, and he gets the top of his stomach above the net at best, which I wouldn't quite say is the waist. Waist at the net is just a bit of an exaggeration IMO, chest fully above the net is very good, even for a pro.

not to mention, i was the one filming, and the rest of our team was there, including the team from falher "heritage". So unless you where all there reffing at the height of the net, you have no real idea of how high he jumped...and im not saying hes jumping like leonel marshall. but he is getting up there, maybe not with the same distance, but height wise, he isn't that far off.

def not legit net height. just cus the net height is a set height doesn't mean every place you play is the right height. we went to the U of A invitational this year in edmonton, 25 of the best teams in alberta and the nets were still low there.

and plus the camera angles shot from below the net so he's not really waist high lol but he's fuckin up there lol i'd say chest high, and that's if you were to bring the cam up to the same level as the net, same wit his feet, i'd also say he's almost 42-45 inches off the ground easy

def not legit net height. just cus the net height is a set height doesn't mean every place you play is the right height. we went to the U of A invitational this year in edmonton, 25 of the best teams in alberta and the nets were still low there.
also the angle of the camera makes it look higher but it is still unreal vert, but not 50. maybe 42

what do you mean by that? the net is a set hight, its a rule...it has to be 8 ft. well actually...7'11 and 5/8...but yea...he is 5'7...net is 8 ft....
