also if you wanna stop the advert, just when your on runescape about to play (or playing) you can right click the ad(s)and click " stop " and it will stop it. (i only know for sure it works for firefox but i dont know it works for internet explorer but it might)

It's not just blocking adverts, its blocking them intentially, so if you have the right sources, someone could "un-intentially" make a program that adverts didnt appean on. Gl!

this is what u should do to solve all those problems:

-download rs client in the downloads tab of runescape, and u won't backspace out.

-for the adverts, just right-click them and uncheck "play", and set quality to low.

-and for lagging, just hit ctrl alt del, go to applications, right click runescape and hit go to process then right click, hit set priority, and select high. hope this helps.

Adverts : you can minimize you runescape game window to so you can see your runescape game, and not seeing the advert

Backspacing out : have the downloadable client from runescape, i have it its simple, you download it and you have runescape as an desktop icon.

you cant backspace in the downloadable client

in f2p for the adverts, instead of switching to a low quality, theres 2 small question marks (?) beside the advert, u can click on one of them and click refresh. instead of the page refreshing, the advert will and most of the time (in my opinion) the advert goes away. keep on trying if it doesnt work for a while, it works for me when im f2p

If you press the restore down button next to the exit button on your browser you can then scroll down so that the advert does not show this stops the lag completely as well :) great video

Instead of blocking the ads or going to another website to play Runescape you can do this:

1. Click Play Now on the front page.

2. Press escape, this will stop loading all ads, but the game will continue to load.
