I was cheated on and may not be able to forgive my husband. That may lead us to divorce. I had forever on my mind when I got married....does that make ME a fraud.

@missinglowell: I didn't say anything about his beautiful voice..he's great ! Just was wondering about words to songs and promises. And you asked: have you never had to start over? Well, yes.....my dear husband died suddenly of a heart attack , and our marriage lasted til he died. Like we promised at our wedding. I am now married again and promised my husband I will stay with him til I die. That's what I mean. It's called keeping a vow. So.."I want it to last" should mean something

He's a straight ahead, no gimmick artist with so much talent there aren't enough nights in the year for him to take it to his fans; he's also a guys' guy, with an angel's voice, which is understandably confounding your small mind. Can't wrap my brain around listening to this and having nothing to say but "he divorced his WIFE! - he's a fraud!" Hang it UP, and switch channels!

I always come back to this just to hear the purity of that voice. this one NEVER gets old ~ his voice is just~~ethereal! & the style of this song shows his virtuosity; he can do Ray Charles as easily as the New Nashville Cats and stratocaster w/ Clapton ~ the stars definitely aligned the night he was . . . . :)

Met Vince four years ago and spoke to him several times since...I think he could tell I was nervous that first time but he treated me like he'd known me for years and was so gracious and sweet and funny...hope I get to sing/play w/him someday...truly one of my heroes!

Vince Gill has the most BEAUTIFUL voice to be a guy....no offense, but he has a very high pitched voice to be a guy. I love his voice....its very unique :).....He is one of the best country singers around!!!! ;)
