  • has a bee ever gotten in ur hat?

  • That guys does that for a living, just another day at the office

  • Plz tell me you set that box on fire.

  • By god you got nerve, I cry when a bee gets around me. I hate the things

  • @icex2010 Have you looked into the health benefits associated with bee venom ? Unless of course your allergic that's a different story.

  • Bee vacuum!

  • I admit I'm DEATHLY afraid of bees, but once the hive is cleared I like to chew on fresh honeycomb :3 so good <3

  • should of he been wearing gloves

  • Wow that's a lot of bees. Love the music thanks for sharing this!

  • Just killing the bees of a hive that size would be a bad idea. Not only would you have to deal with a wall full of dead bees, you would have a wall full of honey. Without the bees to care for the comb it will rot and the honey will bring in new pests like ants. Honey is also a great moisture absorber and will cause the wood to rot pretty quickly.

  • You got guts to leave your hat off.

Nice good job cleaning that up.

Good lord that's a lot of bees!

  • how many times did you get stung?

  • Why wouldn't you remove the hive from inside? Seems like that would have been the better choice. With the use of Liquid Smoke you can easily do a live extraction from inside. I envy you being able to do a removal without using full protective gear. Now try doing that in Las Vegas, Arizona or Texas....whole different story.

  • @BeeMoney42 Yes, inside extraction is usually best, but A) we were reshingling that wall anyway, so anything done to the exterior would be covered with new siding; B) no one knew how large the hive really was, or how far it spread through the walls; and C) the inside wall still had the original, 105 year-old lathe and plaster, which we would hate to tear off.

  • @ Cruddiestcrudever I'm a bee keeper myself out here in Phx , AZ And most of our bees are africanized there aggressive.. If you just go with a cheesey extermination in the wall knowing there;s a hive in there all your doing is putting a band aid over the problem but any where from 1 month to a year later a new swarm will be back to that established hive in the wall..

  • Way ta go dude

  • Crazy!!! he takes off his hat!!

  • Amazing! It's great the owner of the house would let you do such damage to the house to remove the hive safely, others would just exterminate the bees.
