I fell in love with this game when I saw I could choose the cop car. I own a white Caprice just like the one in the game, so it was pretty cool to kind of race my own car in it.

I discovered a glitch in San Francisco, practically right at the start of the race, It works in the acrcade version I never got to try on the N64 though, but right at the start if you go straight and keep going straight when there is a right curve, you'll drive right over the curve and keep going, eventually there will be nothing left to drive on and get sent back to the road.

I think you had to do all the races with the certain cars on hard mode.

I remember spending all day trying to unlock all the cars, it took forever and was sooo worth it.

I'm not 100% sure thats how you get the police car, but its how you get the other cars

You had to hold a few buttons down on the select screen, each time you beat the game on a harder difficulty you got a faster cop car, the orange one is the fastest...to unlock the flashing lights and sirren you had to get a high score then hold the joystick down then left for 10 seconds till you see a head on the rollers say "i love this job!" then you press brake,brake,gas in the game to make them go.

Outrun is the only way to cruise across America. The trouble with Crusin' USA is it feels and plays like a tech demo and the controls are way too floaty man. The music just sounds like an afterthought.

Well I have played a tech demo of a racing game before and it was NOTHING like crusin' usa. CUSA is awesome man.

1st get a high score, then hold down on the stick, then when you see the rollers, hold left for like 40 seconds, when you see a head say "I love this job!" the cheat is active, then in the game you press: brake,brake,gas to make the siren go.
