The 2012 theory started with the Mayan calender. It didn't mean end of the world. It meant end of a cycle. They did have knowledge of the stars, however. Just like a lot of older civilizations(somehow). The Sumerians were among the first civilizations that knew the stars and planets in our solar system. They mention Nibiru being among them. Incidentally, being a sun (even a brown dwarf) would mean it was at LEAST 13 times the mass of Jupiter, Jupiter is incredibly bright by only reflection of sunlight. A small sun would be giving off it's own light etc, why am I even explaining this.

The 2012 theory started with the Mayan calender. It didn't mean end of the world. It meant end of a cycle. They did have knowledge of the stars, however. Just like a lot of older civilizations(somehow). The Sumerians were among the first civilizations that knew the stars and planets in our solar system. They mention Nibiru being among them. Not sure if that is a lie made by modern man though. I'll need to look into it further.
