Indie isn't a musical genre. its a reaction to capitalism. Neon Indian have gona a little bit more mainstream. In the US its like if you are recorded in a certain Hi Fi manner you get raio play, radio friendly. its not a bad thing, but its an interesting direction, its good to see artists taking risks, and alienating these tags, critics faves.
