I might be wrong but the early AC/DC stuff (TNT-HIGH VOLTAGE) was done by a drummer named Peter Clack. Whether or not it's him or Phil on Live Wire i am unsure.
No, Phil did all of their studio albums through Flick of the Switch, then came back from Ballbreaker on. Simon Wright did Fly on the Wall through Blow Up Your Video, and Chris Slade did The Razor's Edge
Oh, correction, I looked it up, on the Australian release of High Voltage, which featured many songs that weren't released in the US, the drummer was Tony Currenti. Although, on the internation release of High Voltage, Phil Rudd is listed as the drummer for all the tracks.
i went to the studio and separate it on a 31 band eq and turned the sub on. it APPEARS to be in two parts, first half of the verse is kick on 1 and 3- then it SEEMS from 'im as cool as a body on ice' when the hats open it goes into a 1234- but even the producer said it was a fat snare and that with the bass accenting 1/4 notes would produced this effect. covers are not my life, i dont want to be a mirror i just like to play. i will do a version with kick on all 4's because it is all fun
no idea.. just break it down, intro, verse, chorus etc.. listen to each part, hi hat, kick, snare and feel the beat, sing the rhythm ;) - verbalization (beat box style) is very helpful like words for drummers.

AC/DC's songs are pretty simple on the
drums, but they are hella fun to play to!
Any AC/DC is hella fun to play to, man!

Actually the kick is played on all four beats. Try EQing a sub woofer to enhance the kick and you can hear it pretty clearly.
