Aha! Aha! It's taken about 10 years or so but I finally found out what this is, I saw the end of this many years ago on TV when the father 'killed' the children and they followed after him, and I have never been able to find out what it was until now. Thank you!
Ted Healey was certainly no saint but one thing you cannot take away from the guy. He created the Three Stooges. All the physical comedy owes its genesis to him. Give the guy some credit. When Moe heard that Ted Healey had died he was distraught. He and the other Stooges, despite the acrimonious breakup, would have been the first to come to Ted's defense against all the backbiting comments.
this print seems to be better than the one that been shown on tnt and later tcm the lord byron sequence was shown the way it did in the bw feature but the current print on tcm has it enhanced in 3 colors weakening the orange
Unfortunately you are probably correct. From what I understand Ted didn't give a d***
about nobody but Ted. I KNOW The Stooges were happy when they split with him and went on to become even more successful on their own, beginning with "Woman Haters"
I blame Ted Healy for causing Larry to go bald. Thank goodness Moe, Larry, and Curly escaped the wrath of Healy.

What is that on the back of Curly's pajamas?

@TheBookWorm1718 It was the Brakeman's light that they used to hang on the back of the train caboose. Curly was the caboose.

When Healy said He had 4 boys, but he had drowned one. Is he talking about Shemp? Poor Shemp! :(

Healy did not deserve the stooges. They made him and he crapped all over them. It is really cool to see these old shorts. First time.

Here's part 2 any another short with Curly in the early days if you noticed that it was Ted Nealy doing the slapping not Moe.
