I was channel surfing and came accross an old TBN broadcast from 1985 with this guy named Doug in it. I couldn't catch his last name, so I googled around and found your videos here. Wow! Thank the Lord you saved these and have been able to share them! I'll be downloading them myself to help ensure they don't get scrubbed! And now I know Doug's last name and can hunt down any teachings he has. When I saw him tonight on that old TBN broadcast he really seemed knowledgeable About the Bible l

No cryinglion, the one reacting is the original perpetrator of the little gods idea, Kenneth Copeland, whom Walter Martin quoted in parts 1-4. TBN's Paul Crouch was saying all this to defend him, so he wasn't shocked, he was stoked.
At 0:18, you can see the reaction of this guy when he heard the other person say he was a god. It's like he couldn't believe what he was hearing, and didn't know how to react. Probably thought to himself, "shut up and don't say anything else, or you're out of a job".

So we all begin to think that we, ourselves, should have the best gifts, and no one could posses what I don't have. Redundant, I know, but do you get my point?
An example of the error: "You've got to maintain a positive confession, so that God may have power to work in your life. If you maintain a negative confession you give Satan power to work in your life, AND your words bind God's hands so He cannot work in your life.
Now think about that. I (a little god) have made myself greater than the Most High, able to bind Him AND able to give Satan power above GOD HIMSELF! BLASPHEMY!!
When we become "gods" we are unable to accept the gifts of the Spirit given as the Spirit wills. We, as "gods" begin to think that no one could posses what we ourselves should have, after all "I am god! How could anyone be above me?" Consequently, we all, little gods, begin to see ourselves as the "head", which leaves no place for the members to fitly join together...leaving the Church NO body, but as a many-headed abomination. I have personally seen a church destroyed by this doctrine.
@colinb890 I dont' have too many of them talking to me anymore either. Once I exposed some fo the false doctrine on my channel, I guess they didn't like it.
@colinb890 when God sends the prophet and he is rejected, only more error can enter in at that point. I quit watching TBN about 20 years ago. There is so much false doctrine on there now.

Listen, we all can be in fellowship and love each other as Christians and believe different of matters that don't have anything to do with salvation, but Lord this is right down, scary.... Water baptism, Baptism in the Spirit, Tribulation, Rapture, all these things can be debated, and we all can remain brothers in the end,
