  • Make the larger base plate from 1/2" bc grade plywood and drill out the holes w/ a Self Centering Hinge Drill Bit to get your inital hole centered then re-drill it to the actual hole size needed according to a tap and die chart

  • i have had this problem before and will try this method, thanks for the vid i dnt kno why i didnt think of this before, i lost many templates due to the router leaning and cutting the template

  • Because you made it completely square, its not going to make any difference at all. The distribution of weight is the same. You could have made it bigger on the table side.
