There are cracks at the burial chamber. It seems they appeared during construction, since the chamber was reinforced. So far, so me that seems to be the most logical reason to build a Pyramid with no cracks. That would also explain why the chamber at Khufu pyramids has three slabs at the ceiling instead of only one. they took extra precautions...
It´s a possibility, although from what i have found, the crack was due to a miscalculation on the weight, but i haven´t found any studies on this. Yet, we can be certain that something wrong happened during the construction.
is it possible that this is an attempt by humans to recreate other pyramids but they found out they cannot actually make pyramids perfect becuase they are alien technology
These monuments were not necessarily built by extraterrestrials but by now lost superior civilizations. Where did those civilization came from that is a totally different story. It all started in the stars and our Earth-man is connected to other civilizations in the universe. Undoubtedly, the pyramids were not built by Bronze Age Egyptians with ropes, copper tools and pieces of wood. They are thousands of years older than their current dating.
I was thinking today that this structure might have been built this way on purpose. There were indiviuales back then, too. // I heard on TV that there is an ancient text from an historian living at the time and wrote, 'the pyramids were built with wooden machines.' If that is so then they had to be some kind of a crane. // Are there any videos of the interior of this pyramid? // The facing blocks seem to be the most complet of any of the pyramids I've seen. Thanks for showing it.
To me, the bent pyramid is proof that all the retards that think aliens helped build the pyramids is hogwash. The bent pyramid is a mistake on monumental proportions, but a mistake that shows the Egyptians were not perfect, they were learning how to build as they went.
While I agree that the alien stuff is total bunk, the theory that this was a "mistake" is just as much speculation. There is no evidence to support that idea apart from some Egyptologist's best guess.
The great monuments of Egypt were built with a magnitude and mathematical precision that we can't match to this day. Leaving aside the question of where that knowledge came from, it simply doesn't jibe that these same people would have to build half the pyramid before realizing their "mistake."
I agree that perhaps the Bent Pyramid was not a mistake, it certainly could have been used, however it is well known that the Red Pyramid was also built by Sneferu. Why build two (perhaps 3 if you believe he also built the one in Meidum)?
The great monuments of Egypt could easily be redone with even greater mathematical precision in our time. The main limiting factor is of course the extreme amount of money that it would require.
Interesting. As of 1994 when JA West made his video, the experts on moving 60k ton objects said they had no idea how to do it with as much precision as in Giza, but if something has changed in the past 16 years, I'd love to see a link about it.
As for why build two pyramids, I have no idea - apart from saying that's some pretty strong evidence that they were NOT built as tombs as the orthodoxy keeps insisting.
There are no 60k ton objects in Giza. The heaviest block are the three granite slabs on the main burial chamber, each one weights 40 ton. Only centuries later the Egyptians move obelisk up to 900 ton.
The romans at Heliopolis (Balbek ) moved blocks up to 950 ton. They tried to move up to 1,200 ton, but they failed. That seem to be the limit of ancient technology.
zz. Don't call them retards. Thats an insult to people with learning difficulties, Lets be honest anybody who thinks these were built by aliens are plain and SIMPLE fucking nutjobs. The Egyptians of 4500 years ago were as you say in a learing process
they changed angles because well several others collapsed because of the steep angle the base could not support it .... still a cool pyramid ..... i like it better then most the others because well it looks deff its cool xD
they changed the angles because the land on which the pyramid was built was to weak to carry such a heavy building, and inside the corridors there were cracks, which became bigger the higher the pyramid grew. so that´s why they changed the angle, but there was no collapsing ever on egyptian pyramids. here it may have had happened, but Seneferus workers knew how to save it.
well im just saying what they said on history channel but hell everyone has been known to be wrong even them still an awesome place to go see some day
It's very possible that the foundation shifted and THAT is why it's bent and was abandon to start work on a new one.

If the "bent pyramid" was a mistake I'm not sure if they would have finished it. They are known to leave obelisks in quarries when flaws are spotted.

starts off at a 52 degree angle
ends up as a 45
they couldnt make a 52 degree angle pyramid
like the 3 "great" pyramids
which were built before 10000 yrs ago
