firstly, this song came out during grunge's heyday, so it would hardly be spinning in it's grave :) secondly, I wouldn't really call this grunge. But I wouldn't really call Nirvana grunge either. More punk. Grunge was Pearl Jam.
LOVEEEEEEEE this song!! This was my favorite band as a teen and I remember this song came to mind a few times throughout the relationship with my abusive ex-husband
If you like this, you might like Hole's Live Through This album. It deals with a lot of the same kind of issues. Its gotten me through some bad times.
I don't hear Manson at all. They used traditional song arrangements, not straying into weird territory like MM. I think of them more as a female Sex Pistols than anything else.
Thanks for this upload!

Bet someone would even claim that Helen stole her look and Fender Jazz bass from some Floridian heroin addict.

I think Devil's Kitchen meant the video rather than the song.
Asarelah 3 years ago
Okay, I can see that. Perhaps Hole and/or Babes in Toyland?
moparmonster1965 3 years ago 2
No, the sound isn't particularly Manson-like. The Retro-grotesque theme of the video is similar to someI Manson, Nine Inch Nails, and Tool videos.

I see the Tool-style of stop-motion.
