The fact is, socialized medicine makes absolute perfect sense, and is one of the few things that SHOULD be socialized. This is not "socialism", nor is socialism inherently "evil"; systems like socialized medicine can be built how you want it to be built, and can have democratic safeguards built in so it can be changed if it does not work out. The fact is, socialized medicine makes absolute perfect sense, and is one of the few things that SHOULD be socialized. This is not "socialism", nor is socialism inherently "evil"; systems like socialized medicine can be built how you want it to be built, and can have democratic safeguards built in so it can be changed if it does not work out. A discussion of the merits and deficiencies of capitalism vs. socialism is not on the table. What IS being discussed here is the possibility of a "socialized" medical system. It is not, of itself, "socialism". To say that socialized medicine is somehow inherently "bad" or "dangerous" is like saying rocks are dangerous because you can kill people with them; it just makes no sense. Socialized medicine is an efficient, effective tool for making a healthier society by taking care of basic needs.

I really wish that people would learn to to try and defend themselves, their party or any political policy against the attacks made by the wing nuts on radio and TV. When you're on the defensive, rather than the offensive, it's a lost cause. Watch and study how Senator Franks did it in the video here on Youtube...that's how you handle these kinds of people.

She never denied her involvement, she passed a sobriety test, and it was a deemed an accident that happened at 8 PM on a November night with traffic going 55 mph in each direction.
Laura Bush never ran for office.
As the Left refused to question John Edward's love child because he wasn't a candidate, Laura wasn't a candidate for office either.
