  • Wake up America everyone can do something today about the high cost of gas and save energy just low down to 65 mpr. It will go a long way towards cutting gas prices and saving energy. We can do this today.

  • A good candidate, I like his ideas. He is a very good speaker, which I find so important. If a candidate has problems communicating and especially our President, it does not fare well in diplomatic circles.

  • Why don't we just eliminate light bulbs entirely! I did that in my home and now I'm a saving a lo*falls down flight of stairs*

  • actually 1 light bulb a person is 300 million new light bulbs not just 1 lol

  • ok well light bulbs are a start but that not going to solve all of our other environmental problems?

  • Couldn't we just write a law to no longer produce the older style light bulbs???

  • exactly!

  • thats a good idea and i wish it could work but it cant. its like making a law to make all cars electric. gas companies wouldn't go for it or people. if we made it a law to make a light bulbs energy eficient a lot of people would go against it.

  • we should always respect the severity of making a decision 'for the good of' anyone besides ourselves, i agree, but in cases such as this, when the solution to the problem is to 'command better of ourselves', i think it's justified. not only that, but making noble decisions now may temper our culture for the future. just my opinions.

  • Ron Paul will reduce air pollution by not taxing the internet. (he is against taxing the internet) That will encourage online shopping and discourage driving to the store to buy something.

Ron Paul will use private property to reduce water and land pollution.

  • How come politicans talk about finding an alternative fuel? Why do they act like there's no alternative? There is. It's called Biodiesel. You should talk about that, and it'll show you care about the enviroment. It's made of kelp! I know this and i'm 11! I'm suprised no one knows.

  • solar enegy was booming in the early 80's. we have global warming. s/b global warning! you talk about lightbulbs. wooteedo! use the sun, it's telling us somethinsomething alreadyg. oh but then the counties we are fighting would no longer get wealthy on our need for their oil! then all hell would break loose, because we gave them the power to begin with by depending on them

  • You want our comments, but you will only post a few at a time. Don't you value a free exchange of ideas, Joe? Hillary is worse. She does not allow any posted comments. That shows that she does not truly want a democratic exchange of ideas. We must petition the queen.

  • Right on! So can working from home! My wife drives a hybrid car to work & that helps as well! What is more is that wind energy can be tapped on a massive scale as well! Imagine how much energy we would save by putting small wind generating turbine type systems in people's back yards!

  • We don't get a lot of wind here except during an election year. In this information age, more working from home is a good idea and is becoming a trend. franklinlacydot___.

  • and what do you do with the mecury from the compact fluorescents. and the leds are not ready cost way to much, nuclear power great lets build lots.

  • Between compact fluorescents, LEDs, and a mix of solar and nuclear power, the United States could really turn around a lot of our power infrastructure issues.
