Why is everybody condemning the interviewer? I love Blake to death, but I couldn't at first even tell if this was a joke or not! I mean he's acting like the same person in and out of filming! Since when did actors "turn into" their parts?!?! Jonathan king wasn't at all bashing the film or Blake, he was conducting a simple interview with a critic's attitude. And for some reason Blake was blowing up about his theories. Loosen up Robert and talk to the guy about the film. Shit.

@kenwayne96 - I believe he was referring to his previous comment about everyone being human, with faults, foibles, mistakes, etc. With the right upbringing & chances in life, the killers could have led productive lives; with the wrong, the murdered children may have been delinquents. It wasn't meant as an insult toward the victims.

Jonathan king and Robert Blake both make dumb comments in this interview. First of all the movie absolutely did not glorify 2 kilers. The movie is a very realistic, freightening & disturbing portrayal of two heartless ex-cons who enter the Home of an innocent family and leave them blown to smitherines, and Blakes comment about everybody being wrong including the family doesn't make a lick of sense. My heart was pounding and I was hyperventilating when I saw the murder scene in this movie.

In the introduction, Mr. King is very generous to Robert Blake. A fascinating interview, but Robert Blake was always a troubled angry man.But a brilliant actor.

As always Robert does tell it how it is, and I for one miss his presence in TV and the movies. I hope that he is doing well and will again return, or at least understand that not all people view him as a "monster". We still love you Robert

Every thing that Blake said is still the same today. We dont care about people who have problems or mental illness. We live in a rat race and a violent world and every one will be touched by that violence at some point. We have to start looking after others and not just number one.

Robert Blake was so real, he had insight into the real motivations behind peoples actions. How refreshing that he didn't sugar coat his feelings and worry about political correctness. What a shame his work wasn't and hasn't been given the credit it should have had.

Sorry, but I'm with Robert Blake on this. Everything he said was true. I guess the film's popularity proved the interviewer wrong. I'm also surpried that he didn't start bashing Hitchcock for Psycho basing it on Ed Gein. That interviewer had absolutly nothing to back his points but eccept blind ignorance and a one sided point of view.
