For most themes, your custom firmware has to be at least 3.70.

You create a folder inside the PSP folder. Name it "THEME." When you download the theme, make sure it's in ptf form. It should only take about 5 seconds or less and save it to your computer. Send it to the PSP then go to my computer and drag the theme into the psp, and then the theme folder. Then go to theme settings on your psp and it should be there.
