What I don't understand is --- where is the promotion of this mad man's attempt? This should be done in an arena with hundreds if not thousands of people who love hot peppers... This guy is dying... and we all want too watch!!! WAY TO GO DUDE! I've seen friends cry and jump up from the table after being fed Habaneros! Then demand a refund on their sushi!! And they got it!

Some people say the milk makes it worse. Eating something as spicy or even spicer can get rid of the pain of a spicy meal.

Simple the second infusion of spice into your mouth cancels out the effect of the first one or mitages since your brain is getting clobbered by the new signals. It's why sometimes if you have pain in a certain region a hit to another region can cause the first instance of pain to go away.

He's coughing because the heat is sucking the air out of his lungs. Too bad it's so dark, it's hard to get a good look at his face. Hope he didn't start his toilet paper on fire the next morning.
I took a bite out of a habenero once. Once. So I give him credit for an iron stomach, and teflon tongue.
Looking forward to using these in my chili.

Just imagine the tolerance that man has built up to heat-he handles that Naga Viper like a true professional. Clearly, it is uncomfortable for him-but he ate and reacted to it like most people act towards tobasco sauce! I would like to see a foodie that doesn't have this type of tolerance eat one! That man's reaction is just dangerously calm!!!

It's not "genetically made." It was a natural cross of three of the hottest chilies known previously. People have been crossing fruit, roses, et cetera for thousands of years.

I grew the pepper that he ate, I'm in the video. My peppers were sent to Gerald Fowler who confirmed that these are Naga Vipers. We're working to put a pic on our site of the pepper he ate so you can see for yourself.

LOL, no joke went downstairs to ask mah grandma if she ever heard of this. She said yea, she tasted one once.... All she could say is "It's hot"! She's happy now that she tasted the hottest in the world! I love spice but not that much :)

Alot of training goes into this!! Iprepare by eating cooler chillies then go up the schoville scale. They effect you any many a way from pins and needles to other parts of the body giving way. The stomach is the most painfull with cramp... I'm given a chilli and I know the pain it's mind over matter.............
