The old gallardo has about the same power but less torque then the nissan. Yeh it's lighter but the Nissan makes up with a sophisticated all-wheel-traction-control-system - lambo can't beat that but it's not as bad as you GT-R fanboys want it to let to look like.

The Superleggera is not as quick as an GTR around most tracks. The GTR is an amazing piece of engineering.
The Lambo is a very nice & fast car, but the GTR is a all round better car & this has been proved on many occasions all over the world, around many different tracks.
I would be nice to see the GTR sounding the horn so the Lambo dosen't get the slight jump on it. The GTR wasn't built for straight line speed, but for going around a track & will beat the Lambo around 90% of tracks. For example GTR would win on all F1 tracks. Try beating the GTR from a standing start too, none of these rolling starts which take less skill.
Watch my other video with a stock GTR vs. stock Lambo. The only reason I did not win by that much in this video is because of the ECU just being reset from disconnecting the battery for 24 hours. I would've won by more had I allowed my ECU to relearn.

Where did you see the SLR lose to a GTR? Search "60-130 times" in Google and the go to the first link that pops up. There is a list of 60-130 times for a lot of sports cars. The GT-R does 60-130 in 10.9 seconds. My car (yes my forum name is Byzantine) does it in 9.9 seconds stock. That's a full second faster. The SLR does it 7.24 seconds. A stock GTR would get raped by an SLR. If you don't believe me, do the search.

Every track is going to be different. Different conditions, different variables. If you type in "Best Motoring Superleggera Track" into the YouTube search, click the first result. It's a superleggera beating a nissan gt-r on the same track by 3-4 seconds. This is a small track so 3-4 seconds is alot. That should completely negate your argument.
It might be a famous track that alot of cars test on but it is not a relevant track. How many times are you going to be on a 13 mile track. How many times are you going to be on the Nurburgring? Excuse me, but I actually track my Lambo, how many people can you say do that? So I'm pretty confident I can say I know what I'm talking about. Don't throw assumptions into an intelligible debate.

From the standstill I would lose everytime, yes. But E-gear is slower than stick Lambos with the proper driver. VBox shows E-gear shifting in 200-250ms. I consistently get 90-110ms shifts on my Vbox.

I powershift all my manual cars because I believe cars should be driven hard. I cannot attest the accuracy of VBox, but it is currently being used in alot of performance tests, so I just go by that. It must be correct, because when I tested my friend's M5. It shifted in around 190-220 ms depending on S5 or S6 mode.
Do you think this guy cares about costs? He doesn't go out to the track to disgus how much it costs its about how fast you can go that counts. Also look around on youtube there's plenty of 1000hp Supras, GTR's racing against bone stock Lamborghini's and Ferrari's. Thats a shame that people indeed invest all that money into them when at the end of the day they could have had one but instead they bought a Toyota or Nissan and invested more into the parts than what the car is actually worth.

You're an idiot. I own a C6Z06 and SuperFastHD did at one point as well, and while it's easy to tune the GTR, it's also easy to tune a C6Z06. Stock, C6Z06's make around 440whp. A bolt on Z06 with full exhaust, intake and tune can make well over 500whp like a tuned and exhaust GTR. But the Z06 is 650lbs lighter than a GTR and with a proper driver, will demolish that japanese boat all day long. All the reviews you see of GTRs winning is mostly because Nissan rigs their test cars.
Practicality is not what we are arguing. Do you live under a rock? The GTR might have turbos, but the Z06 has displacement. The 7.0L V8 is extremely restricted from the factory. Go on dragtimes and look for their dyno section. A 2006 Corvette with just intake, headers, exhaust and tune made 521whp.
So based on this video, the ZR1 is also the enemy of the Gallardo since the Gallardo won twice in this video?

But I did prove alot of GTR fanboys wrong back in November when every journalist and website prided the GTR as some kind of God. The Gallardo is a slow car, I know, so I was the underdog here. Price doesn't mean anything. I didn't buy this car to be the "fastest car on the streets"

I agree completely. If I didn't mention this before, I'll mention it now. I really like the GTR as a whole package, especially if it was a daily driver. However, I still think $80K is a little too high for a Nissan. If it was $60-$70K for a new one. I would gladly cough up the money.
The other thing I did not like is all the teenagers on the internet and forums that yells blasphemy when I beat one or when another supercar beats one.

Personally I would never buy a new Z06. However, good used CPO C6Z06s are currently in their 40s and low 50s. Whereas I could barely find a good used GTRs in the 60s near me. At this point in time, the Z06 is a better deal than the GTR, but I am still waiting for a used GTR's prices to drop into 50s and 60s before looking into them.
No you're wrong. Anyone that knows cars, will know that a Turbo'ed car will take some time to spool. The Lambo's V10 has much better throttle response, thus giving the head start.

Where did you see the SLR lose to a GTR? Search "60-130 times" in Google and the go to the first link that pops up. There is a list of 60-130 times for a lot of sports cars. The GT-R does 60-130 in 10.9 seconds. My car (yes my forum name is Byzantine) does it in 9.9 seconds stock. That's a full second faster. The SLR does it 7.24 seconds. A stock GTR would get raped by an SLR. If you don't believe me, do the search.

Every track is going to be different. Different conditions, different variables. If you type in "Best Motoring Superleggera Track" into the YouTube search, click the first result. It's a superleggera beating a nissan gt-r on the same track by 3-4 seconds. This is a small track so 3-4 seconds is alot. That should completely negate your argument.

From the standstill I would lose everytime, yes. But E-gear is slower than stick Lambos with the proper driver. VBox shows E-gear shifting in 200-250ms. I consistently get 90-110ms shifts on my Vbox.

The R34 is far from cheap from what I've seen, in fact you could buy an early Lamborghini Diablo or Ferrari Testarossa for the price of one. Id rather have one of those than a Skyline. Id rather have a MKIV Supra than a GTR R34.

True, but that wasn't the point. No one really buys Lamborghinis to race. Sure some people who do buy them are very egotistic and think they are hot stuff. But most of us just buy them as nice cars to cruise in. The point here was because most people on the internet though GTRs are the hottest stuff on earth and would destroy the Gallardo. I powershift all my manual cars because I believe cars should be driven hard. I cannot attest the accuracy of VBox, but it is currently being used in alot of performance tests, so I just go by that. It must be correct, because when I tested my friend's M5. It shifted in around 190-220 ms depending on S5 or S6 mode.

Also look around on youtube there's plenty of 1000hp Supras, GTR's racing against bone stock Lamborghini's and Ferrari's. Thats a shame that people indeed invest all that money into them when at the end of the day they could have had one but instead they bought a Toyota or Nissan and invested more into the parts than what the car is actually worth.

It's not faster, I raced two different GTRs and won. And no there is no driver skill involved in driving a GTR, it drives by itself.
Considering the price? I wouldn't pay $80K for a Nissan, if your looking for a fast car that handles, the C6Z06 is a better car.

You're an idiot. I own a C6Z06 and SuperFastHD did at one point as well, and while it's easy to tune the GTR, it's also easy to tune a C6Z06. Stock, C6Z06's make around 440whp. A bolt on Z06 with full exhaust, intake and tune can make well over 500whp like a tuned and exhaust GTR. But the Z06 is 650lbs lighter than a GTR and with a proper driver, will demolish that japanese boat all day long. All the reviews you see of GTRs winning is mostly because Nissan rigs their test cars.

Practicality is not what we are arguing. Do you live under a rock? The GTR might have turbos, but the Z06 has displacement. The 7.0L V8 is extremely restricted from the factory. Go on dragtimes and look for their dyno section. A 2006 Corvette with just intake, headers, exhaust and tune made 521whp.
So based on this video, the ZR1 is also the enemy of the Gallardo since the Gallardo won twice in this video?

Yeah, the GTR is built for the 1/4 essentially due its gearing and launch control.
Not trying to prove anything in this video, just having fun with my friend. But I did prove alot of GTR fanboys wrong back in November when every journalist and website prided the GTR as some kind of God. The Gallardo is a slow car, I know, so I was the underdog here. Price doesn't mean anything. I didn't buy this car to be the "fastest car on the streets"

I agree completely. If I didn't mention this before, I'll mention it now. I really like the GTR as a whole package, especially if it was a daily driver. However, I still think $80K is a little too high for a Nissan. If it was $60-$70K for a new one. I would gladly cough up the money.
The other thing I did not like is all the teenagers on the internet and forums that yells blasphemy when I beat one or when another supercar beats one.

Hence someone who buys a z06 which is more, is it stupid to spend 90k on a GM? Its all about how deep your pockets are, and just because someone can't afford a lambo, gt2 etc, doesn't mean they should deny themselves the satisfaction of super car performance. Keep in mind, i would take a lambo over gtr anyday ;)

Personally I would never buy a new Z06. However, good used CPO C6Z06s are currently in their 40s and low 50s. Whereas I could barely find a good used GTRs in the 60s near me. At this point in time, the Z06 is a better deal than the GTR, but I am still waiting for a used GTR's prices to drop into 50s and 60s before looking into them.
