(In the beginning) The constant struggle between Jack and Lock needing (not wanting) to be leaders is a reflection of Lock's desire to stay on the island and Jack's fulfillment of constantly knowing what is best, inadvertently, sets the "stage" for the Season 6 Finale.

It seems as if some of the main characters' lives off the island-make staying on the island somewhat better for them and for a few other characters staying on the island makes their lives that much more difficult, hence, the appealing struggle.

There are 6 Seasons in total. The Fifth has just come out on DVD and Season 6 will premiere on February 2nd in the new year. And you're right - best show ever!

I just noticed that when you were playing the clips of boone & shannon, from the past to the island it played perfectly in sync. Boone was walking and zoomed, just like the island. Shannon was close to her ear, on the island she was holding a device to her ear. ^_^ very cool work.

I have already made Lost Season 2 using Mama Cass - I chose that song because it just symbolised for me the diversity of the show's characters and how they have their own different stories - they 'make their own kind of music'. I am making one for Season 3 using Sigur Ros' Hopipolla to explore an emotional and epic side to the programme.
