  • chloe is so beautiful! :D

  • @LaAmore94 eh.

  • @tikletik ?

  • Comment removed

  • Zod Saved Jor-El

  • If all three councilmen are guys (or at least look like guys) why does one of them sound like a girl?

  • @jmoli93 Helium?

  • @jmoli93 Nope, that's a girl.

  • @NatDuv121 Thanks for the clarification. I was completely confused. lol

  • Does anybody else find something weird about Jor-El saying the earthlings will be doomed if the Kryptonians are sent there?

Also in the original Superman movies (which are largely respected even in the comics, if not canon), it was firmly established that Krypton had no death penalty, and not because of the Phantom Zone. That was said in both the Donner and Lester cuts.

  • @metalore

No If the Kryptonians are sent to Earth, then they'd take over the entire planet.. they have super-powers, whereas the humans don't.

  • @TheBlurSilver

I will do the same thing, take over the world.

  • @TheBlurSilver Wrong he clearly says we can't doom another planets future to create our past... not "take over" that is hostile

  • @TheBlurSilver But I see your point council are full of rocks in their heads you can't doom another planet

  • @TheBlurSilver I think season 9 episode 9

  • if zod was jor-els friend why did zod try to kill kal-el?

  • @Superedmar2 because jor-el never told zod about his son, kalel. After this scene Zod wanted Jor-el to return the favor by saving his son but didn't.

  • @Superedmar2 He belives Jor-El betrayed him by not reviving his wife and son through cloning.

  • I dunno about this but this version of jor el is of if my favourites due to him having insecurities and doubts making him more 3 dimensional

  • @ryananderson280195 That's not really a good way of approaching his character as intergalactic travelers such as Jor El shouldn't have insecurities, mainly because aliens would have evolved into a higher consciousness therefore being more than three dimensional being, saying that Jor El is 3 dimensional is in itself disrespectful not to mention wrong.

  • @DanteSparda08 nice point, however the insecurities I mentioned were stated in another episode where Clark sees the message Lara and Jor-El left for him to see. He's a father and all parenthood gives itself insecurities and worries. The Jor-El in the fortress had no worries, no frailties due to the real Jor-El not sending them and the contrast between them elaborates this more. I'm not being disrespectful, I love the mythology of Superman including the origins stories

  • I thought kryptonians didn't have a death sentence

  • @ryananderson280195 Smallville ignores canon

  • @ryananderson280195 Maybe this was before Phantom Zone banishment replaced the Death Sentence. It was twenty years ago.

  • @ryananderson280195 Maybe this was before Phantom Zone banishment replaced the Death Sentence. It was twenty years ago.

  • This scene takes place 20 years before Krypton destruction so Jor-El may not built the Phantom Zone yet.

  • death penelty? it was stated in superman2 that krypton had not death penalty and the worst punishment was the phantom zone

  • It's been a while since I've seen "Smallville." I stopped watching because it was focusing less on Superman and more on the soap opera stuff that I didn't find entertaining. Did it get good while I was gone? Does the average episode have scenes like this now?

  • @TheShockMaster Lana has left the show so much of the drama that was around in earlier seasons is gone. Are they focusing more on Superman? They have been greatly exploring Clark's Kryptonian heritage since season 6-7. Also he he adopted a secret identiy using the "S" shield known as "The Blur" since he runs and can't fly yet. Lois knows Clark's secret and they are a couple so it's like classic 90's Lois & Clark sort of. It's the final season so it won't be long until he becomes Superman.

  • did they both masturbate on the orb like a soggy biscuit? giving it DNA...

  • @immortalcelsius blood.

  • Hmmm, punishment for treason is Death, In superman II Zod is in the Phantom Zone Because they have no Death penalty, Why is Zod(the Real one) in the Phantom Zone in Smallville.

  • @wildfilms365 Maybe Jor-El hadn't created the Phantom Zone yet. But I'm curious why they think Jor-el making cloning is considered treason if they want to use it.

  • @Meda01 No Jor-El is charged for not agreeing with having the clones set to Earth, Basically questioning and not having faith in the judgement of the super powered clones.

  • @Meda01 because they want to take the credit.

  • Ironic, Zod's arrogance saved Jor-El

  • wait where's Terence Stamp?

  • He is not in Smallville.

  • @UltimateTARDIS He did the Voice for Jor-El But wouldn't Act in it?

  • That's right.

Tom welling might have been perfect as jor-el as father and son do look alike!

  • @UltimateTARDIS That would be awesome
