I really doubt you'l need the Butchery talent, if your raiding it hardly procs. I suggest putting 2 points into Morbidity for aoe encounters.

It's actually better to wait for Obliterate during Killing Machine procs.

Im just saying threat of thassirian doesnt change your blood runes to death runes it makes your attacks hit with both weapons. Blood of the north which you get just by specing frost. Great guide but a few mess ups here and there.

Im pulling 20k constant with a 2H in Frost Presence. Item level is 356. By doing that...I'm not just sitting there auto attacking on longer fights, waiting for my runes and runic power to refill. In this video, you are spamming alot but a lot of the times, everything is on CD

So, IMO, FP is better for a Frost DPS.

AND, if someone doesn't know how to pronounce "expertise", I have a hard time taking you literally. Good video though, sorry for the flame, just being very honest.

People saying they pull 24k with ilevel 353s and 359s must be on something, or they only count there dps when there is a lust or have all there cds up. I can a crap load of dps anywhere, no matter if its a raid or a heroic. 30k+ but my gear ilvl is 382, this video actually helped me, not with everything but it wasnt that bad. @vickedude95 you only need to hit cap YOUR spells and attacks rather than the auto attacks, 8% = no chance of miss on your attacks and something like 15% chance on your normal attacks

Good video, but as of yesterday I started to use Necrotic Strike over Obliterate because not only does it give me a portion of my enemy's health, much similar to death strike; It increases cast time by 30% and requires only one unholy rune which means I can use it 4 time rather than 2 with Obliterate. I still use Obliterate from time to time but only when Killing Machine procs, and only using Frost Strike when I'm full on Runic Power or runes are on cool down.

dude all you clowns saying use frost are not very DK smart, unholy actually minimizes your rune generation by .5 seconds and frost would really only help you in howling blast. other then that unholy is what you want regardless of 2h or 1h DK's

Did u forgot ur Pillar of frost and ghoul ? U need to time all ur strenght buff ( Pillar of frost ,trinket ,fallen crusader proc ) then pop ur ghoul to maximize ur dps .

your not soposed to use unholy presence in frost spec unles you are using 1 two handed weapon if you use 2 1 handed weapons you are soposed to use frost presence

@gargelflargen not sure what u mean but hit cap is only for the special abilities part of the hit you want that to be capped so you dont miss special abilites. as far as normal weapon swings u will always have like 10% plus chance to miss but thats only normal weapon swings which dont matter

PLEASE READ this is my 2nd alt dk not the one in the 4.2 video so i am broke on this sever so im missing enchants, i did only do 14k dps in the video ( UNBUFFED) . i do 18k+ in the new heroic. I can GUARANTEE a dps boost if you follow this guide thank you for understanding
