Lol, I have a GSP puppy and she will eat anything. I mean, anything. We have to watch her closely, lol. I think she needs some of this cake, though! :)
My GSP gets like this over cheese. We have to buy him cheap cheese from the supermarket so he doesn't eat all of ours!
He's really picky over food too, sometimes we have to spoon feed him with his doggy spoon just to get him to eat. Apparently it comes from his dad's side, as we keep in contact with his breeder.
I have a femal GSP - go check her out on Dogster, her name is Susie and we live in Summerville, NY - Susie is 15 years old - and I've had her since she was 1-1/2 years old.
I've her cake, people cookies - many other people foods. They truly must be terrible for her - Hmm, 15 years old!!! Stop being so judgemental .
i see nothing worng with feeding her cake if its a treat and if she has an otherwise healthy diet and wrok/excercise regime - and she seems to like like it so good for her!
I think it's wonderful! We tell our 4 girls to be ladies also & it works great!! I love the way everyone has to tell us 'experts' about how/what/when to feed our dogs, don't you? LOL! Give Tui huge hugs and sloppy kisses from us!!
I have 3 GSP and they all eat nicely from a fork or spoon. They are the smartest and most beautiful dogs. She's lucky to have such a wonderful home with you.
Read what she said lunalauna2....Funny about about, it's actually a diabetic cake with no sucrose and made without high GI white flour, or anything else that could harm my darling. No onions, no chocolate or in particular cocoa. I am not an idiot. I cook this way because my husband is diabetic. But thanks for your concern.
So just leave her alone. She knows what she is doing
How funny! Our ten year old girl is from the pound. Sadly, we're actually her 3rd family. We knew people who adopted her from the RSPCA (2nd family) and then we adopted her from them when they moved overseas (3rd family).
She's the most adaptable and kind hearted dog in the world with the most gentle personality. I couldn't have asked for more. Thanks for your lovely comments.
She probably didn't get her tail docked because she was simply dumped as a puppy.
I didn't know my other post went through too so I wrote it again. LOL
They banned tail docking in australia a few years ago.I know some breeders there so thats why I asked where you got her. She is a pretty girl, I have had them my whole life and will never be without one. :)

Oh, now I get it. You're the woman with the aggressive, out of control jumping, biting dog you think is funny - and am pissed off because I made a comment yesterday.
I wouldn't let young children anywhere near your animal.
WOW she looks SO much like my GSP Megan :)

This comment has received too many negative votes show
That is an ugly GSP and the owner that feeds a dog cake is not very concerned about the animals digestive system

I know they are crazy about sweets, but u shouldn't feed her with cake. It's not good for her stomach...

You shouldn't feed the dog cake, or any other sweet stuff... They develop diabetes.
