You are complaining a bit about the SM being not that fast and about its suspension. BUt because of that system it could break like crazy for the 70's and still is one of the best breaking cars till date. Furthermore sure it would be faster with 300horse power. BUt that much Horse power is pretty much lost on a frontwheel drive car. THe SM was Citroen's prove that you could make a comfortable front wheel drived sports car. I bet that little thing he has cannot outdo you in breaking power :D.

I am with you! The Citroen SM was one of the all time great cars. Criticism of this vehicle is ridiculous, like criticizing the ceiling of the Sistene Chapel! Cars like the SM will never come again. If I was wealthy I'd have a garage full of them!

Citroen was also an offbeat to the French Car industry. THey where a bit wierd with all thier chromy parts and futuristic models and technology ;). That is also why Citroen Lovers love em ;).
