Heres a good spoiler alert. I just read article about an interview that was done with the creator jeff eastin and this is what he says about mozzie.

"Speaking of Mozzie, for those who are concerned that he has been getting awfully cozy with the Feds of late, Eastin assures fans cryptically that it is only temporary. “He is warming up. There’s a couple of twists coming up in our finale and even season three where we realize Mozzie’s definitely keeping his distance. We’ll leave it at that.”

Mozzie can't die, it would be way too much on Neal. First Kate and now Mozzie? I read online that there will be an "intersting resolution" to what happened. So hopefullt he isn't dead :)

Then the rest of the season would be a suicidal Neal! <:( seriously, when his eyes were red back in the last ep, i nearly cried :( Only the rabid fan girls of the show are allowed to make neal cry And plus, Mozzie makes the show funny like the time he went to the bureau in "By the Book" XD

The assailant who shot Mozzie was Paul Blackthorne, who also portrayed Thomas O'Neill in the Burn Notice season 3 mid-season finale "Long Way Back".

It's kind of weird seeing USA use the same actors/actresses for different shows, but I kind of like it. :)
