My brother and son are in Iraq.They said women are pampered.They can't dig pits and want the men to carry their equipment.When the media comes up the COs hand a girl a shovel and film her digging.After the media leaves she walks off and lets the men dig another two hours.MY brother said only one of the dozens of women he saw could drag a 135 lb man and she was 6ft 2 and 175 lbs.She was slower at pulling people than the 130 lb Vietmanese/ American soldier.They do less pushups and run less.HAHA.

@ITSMETHEFLASH you know what your saying is partially true, women cannot carry forth in a physical manner as a man, however I prefer employing women in all honesty, they show up for work, do not have the ego of men, are willing to listen and do as told and are able to do the jobs outlined for them, I have never had a woman who simply cut out like you are stating, it boils down to leadership, and its fairly obvious if things are like you say there, leadership is severely lacking.

@SingForTheLastSong Units used to be designated support, and service support. The army gave everyone berets and renamed them "combat support" and "combat service support" to boost morale. Nothing else changed.

Most soft skills will never leave the wire more than a couple times on a 15 month deployment. Women have no place in the infantry aside from what this one is doing, searching females. That's it.

I think a women can do pretty much anything a guy can. Not in strength, but in the other fields yes. Were much smaller than men so getting through things would be easier. And with the proper training i think that a women could stand at the same level as a man. I'm not saying that all women should fight, but if I was in the army, I'd most definitely want to be doing my part, along side the men.

I know I could. I do MMA, go shooting, tap out bouncers, and beat the crap out of a guy in a match who had been deployed and talked about the people he had killed with grenades. My boyfriend is in the Army and even his friends who have never met me know bot to mess with me. And just about anyone is capable of killing when the other option is that they die. Hand to hand fighting is my preference and its fun. I don't care how big a person is, I stand my ground.
