  • Japan ads pwn US ones

  • running win7

    no av software

    looks ok here boss

but then again if i was dumb enough to click that email link for a 12 inch dick

i would probably be using a macintosh so i thank apple for their support

  • Any company that needs to bag out there oposition with badly written and researched commercials designed to target people who don't know the difference or anything about General IT will never get my sales.

My mother bought an Iphone she can't get music on it, mac people told her to get a mac, she did. Still no music. Now the mac just sits in the back room as backup device, its not even good at that job either and thats the easiest thing a computer should do.

  • Hmm, this adds made me want to buy a mac XD

haha, and i've never really been into it either :P

But still thx for uploading, really fun to watch :D

  • Here's another thing: Apple has reversed everything that the operating system OSX and all previous versions are based off of (UNIX).UNIX is free, OSX is $30.UNIX is developed to be diverse and to run off of a myriad of hardware selections.OSX can only run on Apple computers.UNIX is open sourced and the source code is developed by anyone who wants to contribute, OSX is developed and updated by Apple only, and OSX is closed source. Why does apple hide behind the features of the OS that it ruined?

  • There are plenty of backdoors in all systems. The only thing protecting a UNIX based system is UNIX's tier system. Every user except for root is limited, whereas root has unlimited access to everything. Of course, root user is protected by a password that is hidden behind root only files, so no virus can use it. But then again, you could possibly brute force the password, but that's another story, as well as obvious because that takes up a lot of processor.

  • when will mac learn that they aren't invulnerable.. and ffs, stop calling windows machines PC's. PC stand for PERSONAL COMPUTERS... Macs are PCs, Windows machines are PCs, and Linux, BSD, etc. boxes are PCs. They are all personal unless they are used as a server, but by then they are called servers. There are trojans for every system. not malware, not cookies, but trojans, the bad stuff. Macs get them too, that's why you need to protect your precious little mac too.

  • The PC should've been dressed as a samurai.

  • I dont get viruses. I use linux.

  • NEW:`:IPAD2'';FREE;':SITES'`;;;:

    COPY SITE & PASTE

  • I love how people think Macs doesn't get Viruses. But it does and lot of it.

  • I don't like these kind of commercials where they attack others. It's good that this has been fobidden for a long time in Germany and now no one is doing it either.

  • Why do you think major businesses use PCs instead of Macs?

  • @kossrifle yup!

a [virus] can be written for macs just as well as one can be for windows. it literally is, that macs are such a small niche in the pc world, that they are so well hidden from major attempts. yes, the OS is more protected but not perfect & with more ppl downloading cracked apps, & providing their passes for keygens, thinkin its impossible to get [viruses], its only a matter of time. especially with a growing popularity.

beliefe in this "axiom" as fact, is simply foolish.

  • lets play a game "What the hell are Japanese trying to sell"?

  • LMAO

  • xDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDd

  • I like how PC move slowly behind PC

  • マク:「お、ウイルス!」

    パソコンはいいえワードを伝えます。

    (Mac: "Oh, virus!"

    PC tells no word.)

  • Call me when Mac can play games.

  • lol

  • ahahha soo funny.. but PC rules..

  • I thought people just didn't bother making virus's for macs because most people own pcs...>.> Which is why their are very few if any virus's out there on macs. Am I incorrect? *internet stupid I am*

But this ad cracked me up! Best hi I'm a mac I think I've seen. XD

  • jajajjaajaj

  • lol @ macs enjoy no games.

  • Funny but MAC still sucks. :)

  • Bahaha I love the ending XD

  • Macs do get malware(viruses, worms, spyware, etc) but not as many as PC's because mainly of low market share. The Japanese twist is quite funny! Oh, by the way I posted this comment using Ubuntu 9.04 on Linux (although I have a XP computer and there was a Mac in Music class)

  • LOL

OMG I love how people just do huge comment arguements about how Macs own PCs, or vice-versa XD.

    and P.S:

OMG CLAUNIA!!! YOU JUST PWND~! XD

  • i love the japanese twist on this advert!!!

  • LMAO, claunia u jackass!!!! U got destroyed by wicoclya!

  • ive heard theres a man who hacked mac in less time than windows and that its much easier ,i think it was something in seconds of time he did it

  • u know by now there ARE viruses for mac

  • email me muk646@yahoo . com lets see this virus biach

  • Hi! I'm a Linux.

  • perhaps the only thing worst than an arrogant prick, is one who is also an ignorant prick ...

wicoclya, watch the video and stop your bitching

    Kind Regards,

    The YouTube community

  • Lolol... this video makes me laugh... Macs can EASILY get a virus, and they are 100X more vulnerable to virus's, because they do not have a defense yet -_-'... There are tons of Mac virus's on the market, most made by Microsoft, and future Antivirus software devs for Macs -_-... I guess Apple has what is comin to them in the future for making virus's for Windows -_-'...

  • I'm sorry but there's just no way to even begin responding to your points. The precise opposite of everything you said is true. It's like saying that dress coats are less likely than rain coats to spring a leak because you'd have to be an idiot to wear a dress coat out in the rain.

  • HAHAHA... Mikikaoru, do you even know how to write a virus? Ive wrote MANY, I have limited knowledge of Programming, but am A+/Net+ Certified. Let me guess what experience you have with computers.... let me guess, you use one for 10 hours a day, so that means u know a lot about them?

Did you know that virus's are all mainly just a chain of shortcuts to add/remove registry/Preferences components, and activate OS installed .exes on your comp?

Please know what ur talking about before flaming nub

  • 25 years of computer administration experience.

    MCSE and ACMT certifications.

Programming for 10 years in assembler and C.

There are NO virus for Mac OS X.

Virus definition: A program that without user consent installs by itself and spreads infecting other programs executable code and modifies system values to protect or propagate itself.

Now, discuss me with your certification.

  • Claunia, tis sad if you are actually a Administrator and DONT KNOW THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN A VIRUS AND WORM!!! lololol... Please, dont say the dumbest statement someone could ever say and act like you know about computers...

If I was to put a flash drive in my computer with a virus.exe file on it... I would have to click it to get the virus... a Worm IS WITHOUT user consent, It will immediately transfer over without my consent and spread to everything attached to it...

  • Also Claunia, tis funny how you said that you have 25 years of Admin experience, and 10 years of programming and your profile says your 25... plz fail harder next time...

so you were one of the VERY FEW network Admins 25 years ago? when there was close to no such thing as Networking then? wow, you must be pro and all... i mean 7 years before the 1st webpage was even invented? phew... start thinking before typing....

  • @mikikaoru Okay wow, he said the exact truth.

Macs can get viruses instantly if anyone makes them. Macs don't have a anti-virus.

Try being the #1 os and not having viruses.

  • @mikikaoru

Every operating system will get a virus, it's just that the chances of getting one on windows is much higher. Doesn't mean macs are doing a good job on security though.

  • I'm laughing at how many times you put this "-_-'" in.

  • @wicoclya here's your defense: 256-bit AES encryption and the need to enter your password to change system settings. kind of like windows 7, but not as intrusive. and it works out-of-the-box. it's possible to compromise a mac, but it's a lot harder, so hard in fact that none have succeeded. of course, as you may think, it is possible that no one ever really tries...

  • @wicoclya get a mac u windows user u have no rites to say anything about a mac

  • I like the japanese ones better than the American ones

  • I've had the same PC for nine years now, and I've never had a virus. I don't get pop-ups, either.

Maybe I just don't visit sites that are littered with them.

  • hehehe. they are so cute in a way

  • 「おっ、ウイルス。」That is funny.

  • At the moment, there are hardly any mac viruses out there, but that does not mean there are no mac viruses. Also, if more people started to use macs, there will certainly be an increase in the number of viruses for mac. And eventually if mac does overtake sales compared to pcs, mac is likely to get more viruses than pc. It is simply the popularity of pcs that make it vulnerable to viruses.

  • Don't mean to sound pedantic, but you're talking about malware, not viruses. Viruses are self-installing and self-replicating, and there are are currently NO Mac viruses because the OS has been properly designed. Anybody with a library card/internet access could write malware, and while the platform does its best to protect its users by warning of dangers when running software of unspecified origin it's ultimately the user's choice if they want to run "britneygetsnaked.app".

  • That's exactly why I stuck with a third party. Simple, configurable, free, and doesn't even need to fight. Get a Fedora!

  • Actually, the first ever big self replicating virus was on a Mac, so get your facts right. Macs have plenty of Virii, but they odnt spread through the internet because no-one can be arsed to write a virus for two percent of the population.

  • HAHAHAHAHAHAHA! I'm sorry, but if you really think that a Mac virus isn't possible, then you're naive. There's no way that there is NO flaw in Mac OSX. Perhaps their are no known flaws, but I promise you that if Macs suddenly became the most used computer, there would suddenly be people analyzing the OS for weaknesses and creating Mac viruses.

I'm not trying to be mean, but seriously, the only reason PCs have a problem with viruses is because they're so popular.

  • true, soo very true

  • its not the fact that there are not many people using macs. in fact many do. but apple really wants to provide the greatest & finest products. on the other hand pcs companies dont give a shit. so i got a mac & im happy!

  • Well, if more ppl had Mac's there'd be more viruses for Mac's, and since over 90% ppl use PC's, there is no point in writing viruses for Mac computers. As simple as that...

  • Of course it's not as simple as that. The relative rarity of Macs certainly helps, but the fact is that the user would have to be totally complicit in installing and running any such malware, including unpackaging it from a zipped archive and giving it the admin password to the system if it was to even start. That's why there's zero viruses, not "less viruses than Windows".

  • i have a mac and while i don't get viruses, i get pop up ads (even with the blocker on ), tracking cooking and spyware all the time. not even close to how i had it on my pc before, but it's by no means immune.

  • @mikikaoru You may have to dumb it down for the average "PC" user. Guys, with a Mac there is no "Back door like with Windows. The same back door allows for easier programming making it more appealing for software writers. It also allows viruses to get "Kicked out the front, but to keep a foot in the back and reload themselves becoming a repetitive problem. Malware is a software that must be downloaded. With Mac you truly must go through one gate - no back door available.

  • @kelsofergun Huh what I was having to much fun playing games on my custom built PC that I put together by hand to give a shit about what you have to say. The fact is virus protection is %20 computer and %80 human. After all its the human that is the one that clicked that shady Free Ipad link Herp a derp as they say.

  • @mikikaoru "That's why there's zero viruses, not "less viruses than Windows"."

Bullshit (excuse my french). There are FEW viruses for Macs, sure, but not "zero." To say there are Zero viruses for a mildly popular OS is actually rather...oh..what's the word...facetious....well, it would be if it wasn't so blisteringly wrong.

  • most common viruses are made by the anti-virus companies themselves. Which is mostly PC software companies, keeping a large chunk of viruses on that OS. I'm happy there are hundreds of millions more PC users than Mac. Keeps things good for us, and I hope it stays that way. PC has no advantage over a Mac, unless you waste your life playing video games for hours on end.

  • Macs can be crazy over priced and I never hear people building macs themselves to save money but you can upgrade hardware ona PC I have also never heard anything about people putting in new hardware for their macs. Sorry for the wall o text with no puncutation

  • since obama uses a mac, there's going to be a whole lot of mac viruses

  • Lmao i love how PC just hides behind Mac

    ^_^

  • SO GOOD nice!

  • I love the Rahmens! :D Thanks for putting this up.

  • What no weird transformation of some sort? wow!

  • lol

  • In This commercial the PC guy is funnier and makes me want to root for him....

Well at least they're sticking to formula.

  • well, in the uk and us version too, pc guy is more comedic, wacky, and charismatic. i think apple is actually doing a disservice to themselves here, because pc guy comes off as funny/cool and mac comes across as preachy/self-righteous. but i still love my macbook :D

  • omg hahahahha

  • HAHAHAHHAHAHA LMAO!!!!

  • LOL!!!!!!

  • HAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!

    great Commercial!

  • Look a virus!! AAAAH

  • How does that make it funny?

  • lol i dont really know its just funny

  • its funny cuz we cant understand lol

  • yeah exactly lol

  • Use は instead of が if you want to write a proper Japanese sentence.

  • what do u mean i'm studying japanese and は is a particle and a sounding word no?sry

  • i think Stal116 means that you should use katakana instead of hiragana if you want to write a proper Japanese sentence.

  • LOL! That was hillarious!!! I saw the english ad in the apple store, all of them actually, my dad was browsing and i was bored so i just watched it for aaaggess lol.

I am on a macbook now, they ruuule! lol

    Arigatoo!

    ^_^

  • amazing truly amazing

  • computers suck

  • Secnarfski: Douzo yoroshiku.

  • it looks weird when u read da subtitles but if it waz in english it would just b lyk any otha ad

  • I'm not being facetious. Did any of the people who posted comments for this video learn English grammar?

Please include education in your future if you wish to succeed. It's a necessity.

  • wow, there even weirder the farther away from amarica you get...this is just...wow.

  • Ahh, these are amazing ads. I love it! I enjoy watching the UK versions too. Any Mac-head should watch all of the "Get a Mac" ads in the US, UK and JP versions. It's funny and cool!

  • LOL, i love japs they're hilarious and completely NUTS

  • Wow, the Japanese MacVSPC ads are way funnier than the ones in the US XD

  • the japanese ads feel like pc is winning. pc is way smarter and cooler and funnier than mac. mac is a dolt.

  • I laughing so hard right now. That was so funny!

  • GREAT WORK 5*

  • lol it was funny but untrue, the computers protection from virus's is only as good as the computers user. When I used a mac I needed some anti virus wear but i couldnt download it because appearently the mac couldnt run it.

  • There are currently no viruses in the wild that can infect a Macintosh. None. Anti-virus software for a Macintosh is rather pointless at the moment. Trojans are a different matter of course, but even then there's only one or two and you'd have to practically install them manually.

  • there are virus for mac, but not as much as pc.

  • Yeah... I agree with this guy.

To say that there are currently no viruses in the wild that can infect a Mac is definetely an overstatement.

  • ther saying mac users dont need to worry, not that there no viruses at all. if you see one bee bye your car, do you start running the hell away? if you see 100 do you run? see the diference.

  • no viruses at all please............

  • And that shows how much the average mac user knows about anything.. QED :D

  • PCs are more popular so they are more often targeted by viruses.

  • yes but they also have some pretty heavy duty virus control programs, if your willing to pay a fee.......YOUR SOUL!!!! MWAHAHAHAHAHAHA

  • never gets old!

  • LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL

one of the best ads ever (by apple) !!!

  • HAAAAAAAAAAAHAHAHHAHAHAHAAA!!! This is one of the best ones!! wonder why I didn't see it in the US or UK versions... hahaha XD

  • LOL

  • WOW PC KNOWS Kung Fu! or Karate... or Tai-jet-su... or Tai... or something else... awesome 5/5

  • I'm a pc user, but love all these mac vs pc things...funny, that I have to admit

  • haha this one is good

  • I loved the end. "look, virus!", and the PC cowered behind the Mac. Awesome!

  • haha thats funny

  • lol macs rule

  • LOL

  • This has gotta be the best one yet!

  • umm...There are not often so many impressions in Japan.

  • ahahah love it

  • haha that was great

  • mac is the best

  • hahaha I love these :) Now I'm gonna start collecting all the UK ads to my favorites too :D

  • omg, that PC guy, so kawaii! i love these. thanks!

  • Once again, I'd rather have all that protective gear on... Someone should come up and sack the Mac guy. He'd be sorry.

  • Most adorable PC evah

  • love it hahahha

  • PC is the cutest thing ever! *squeals*

  • I think the funniest thing is that Mac plays of Viruses like they are nothing. But really. The more popular Mac gets the worse viruses will get. >.>

  • Security through obscurity is only one reason there's no Mac viruses, plus they're unlikely to ever get the sort of market share that would warrant writing them.

  • really? i thought all of their hard disks are separate, so if u get a virus on one, you can easily isolate it (one of hundreds) and keep using your regular programs until the virus is erased

  • I think this is my favorite of these; it's so cute.

Question: does anyone know why PC's armor says 'PA'? Is it short for paasocon or something, or is there some actual meaning in the Japanese sport in which that armor is worn (which I have also forgotten. Kendo?)

  • Yeah, it's short for Pasokon. Kendo armour has the player's name written there, so it's obviously based on that.

  • *sneak sneak hide*

  • lmao!

  • this is awesome.

    much props

  • HAHA!!

    love it. =D

  • didn't know japan did these too

  • Lots of countires have their own "Get a Mac" ads.

  • hahaha lol

  • haha really good

  • haha love it

  • Awesome, much better than the American version about Vista, this one is fun... thanks to Mikikaoru for posting it with subtitles! :)
