I love this song. So imagine my shock and dismay to find that it was by the same person who wrote those absolutely god-awful Bon Jovi songs back in the 80's. :|

@tuttt99 One could argue that a big part of Glam metal was based on amplifying Desmond Child's songwriting. Bon Jovi, Alice Cooper,Kiss etc.

@I loved this album and the Times Square soundtrack, too...that was an awesome LP, and this was the best song on it...I used to listen to this song over and over, and now that I've found it here, I can do so again. Met Desmond a couple of times in the early 80's....he's a little odd but really genuinely sweet; I wish him well in all things and hope he makes more music himself, not just writing for other artists.

This may sound silly to those of you that weren't dreamers.........I used to listen to this album in junior high(Clearwater Beach!) and dream about moving to Manhattan and being a part of the city, when I got there in 1987 this played the soundtrack to my life, wow.....thanks for posting this.
