What the media is neglecting to inform people about is that fact that the Bush Tax Cuts expire at the end of 2010 so all tax rates revert back to the year 2000.
Most Americans will see rates jump by 3-6% so if a family is bringing in $80,000 a year the tax break down is as follows
Taxes owed in 2000= $16,699. or 20.87% of income. Taxes owed in 2008= $13,490.00 or 16.86% of income
Difference of $3,209. now multiply that by 148 million = $475,006,000,000 a year
But the insurance company CEOs are very rich.... that's why we need a public option. They also deny care to many people so they can make more of a profit. You really trust a private, for profit company to determine when you can get surgery or needed medical care? There are times when less Government is good and times when it's beneficial. This is one of those times. You can keep your private healthcare, and keep making those CEOs rich.
People need to see that once this public plan is in place employers will immediately opt out of carrying health insurance for their employees making Ins Co's less wealthy on one side of the spectrum. Unfortunately said Ins Co will raise rates on the other spectrum which will be Auto & Home Ins thus placing the bill on us. Also said Ins Cos will layoff a large portion of their employees since they will no longer be needed.
Insurance companies being less wealthy will be great for America. Aren't they wealthy enough? Single payer is the best way to go, but that will never be in America. Hopefully, we will have a public option that keeps costs down and hopefully, destroys many of the greedy insurance companies. In this case, I think more government is the best thing.

Ok, I live in the UK and NICE most definitely does not do that. NICE works out the best drugs weighing their benefits something EVERY SINGLE INSURANCE PLAN DOES. If you want some experimental drugs or drugs that are not standard you can buy them or you can go to BUPA and get a plan to cover them for u which would cost less than any standard US plan that would not cover you for those drugs.
Yes the cancer drug Urbetox is not covered. NO private insurance company covers them

What the media is neglecting to inform people about is that fact that the Bush Tax Cuts expire at the end of 2010 so all tax rates revert back to the year 2000.
Most Americans will see rates jump by 3-6% so if a family is bringing in $80,000 a year the tax break down is as follows
Taxes owed in 2000= $16,699. or 20.87% of income. Taxes owed in 2008= $13,490.00 or 16.86% of income
Difference of $3,209. now multiply that by 148 million = $475,006,000,000 a year

People need to see that once this public plan is in place employers will immediately opt out of carrying health insurance for their employees making Ins Co's less wealthy on one side of the spectrum. Unfortunately said Ins Co will raise rates on the other spectrum which will be Auto & Home Ins thus placing the bill on us. Also said Ins Cos will layoff a large portion of their employees since they will no longer be needed.

Insurance companies being less wealthy will be great for America. Aren't they wealthy enough? Single payer is the best way to go, but that will never be in America. Hopefully, we will have a public option that keeps costs down and hopefully, destroys many of the greedy insurance companies. In this case, I think more government is the best thing.

Yeah, I'm surprised Obama didn't demand the guys head. (Maybe he did behind the scenes. Obama needs to quit acting like a celebrity or a prize fighter. He's definitely after power and government take over of everything. Americans need to take their country back.

Generally I would have to agree and say someone should respect the office of president and not interrupt and follow the order of the proceedings.
