  • just ordered one today (Australia) and like your retracts, what brand?

    Mukblade

  • what happened to the back tire for landing?

  • @triplejayvideos The Hawker Hurricane has a fixed tailwheel. It does not retract.

  • ...i think that 20degrees down on flaps are enough..

At least on my BlackHorse P-36A Hawk,

    they make landings smooooooth!

  • @dreamwisperer Haven't finished assembling her yet so she's unflown. When I do fly her we will see how well the flaps work. I use about 20 degrees of down flap for take off with my similar sized FMS P-47. Works well. Thanks.

  • They are called "split flaps" and are a scale feature. The full size Hurrucane had them.

  • Why do they make the flap servo stick out the bottom?

  • @vanepico -- The servo is covered by the belly mounted oil cooler. Can't see the servo when it's mounted. Pretty clever actually.

  • Flaps and retract perfect construction, congratulations,From France

    5 star

  • @comaberenis Merci. It's a very nice ARF model.
