good pilot... after the rear wheels touchdown (@1:10), he slowed the plane as much as he could and held the plane for 20 sec before putting the nose down, in which case, he is on his slowest speed possible...

This is the first time that I've seen this clip and I have to say that the pilot of this plane did an excellent job of getting those people safely on the ground. He held the nose up much longer than I had previously thought possible of an aircraft that size.

Looks like Safi Airways if I remember correctly. They were one step away from allowing goats onboard in the cabin the last time I flew with them. Same thing with Ariana Afghan Airlines, and more on topic - completely abysmal maintenance records. Anyone flying into Afghanistan commercially, I'd advise sticking with DFS or Eastern Skyjets.

Same thing happened in L.A. The steering was at full lock , the female captian brought it in , held the nose up as long as possible and the gear held but it ground the front wheel down to the hub . It was a perfect centerline landing . You can probably find the video here on Youtube. Just type in " LAX emergency landing . "

very high skill shown by the pilots what they must of done is after main gear touchdown they held the nose up as long as possible by proper elevator positioning slighly pulling up as in rotating but not as mucht and pulling more and more upward as the speed decreases but at a certain time when the airspeed is too low the elevator then cannot hold the nose up anymore
