I've been looking for a place to rent for five months now! I'm in Canada and am a blind wheelchair user. I have been told "absolutely NO dogs" over and over even though it's illegal to refuse to rent to someone because of them having a guide or service dog. There are also a lot of ads on different websites saying "no smoking, absolutely NO pets, and no children"! People don't seem to care about the "law" at all when renting out a place to live...
