When Jimmy is playing well hes amazing, but there was just an era, starting around 79 and into part of the 80's, where he would just be horrible. Drugs was the problem at the time, but whew there were times I would just feel really bad for him and the audience. But he overcame and still plays fantastic. Jimmy is a guitar legend.

Page is a sloppy guitarist especially live. He is very influential though. Maybe hes just not turning the gain high enough (which sounds terrible when he does fast picking) or just the cocaine kicking in. Im not fan of the bow either. Nothing impressive there except when your high (which is 95% of the crowd). Still he is a guitar god. I wouldnt be playing the guitar if it wasnt for the man. You rock Jimmy!

I love most of their studio work, I played drums and I see Bonham high above in the drums-olymp, Jones was a great bassman and Page had lots of talent - but I NEVER liked his live sound and this playing with a violin bow, these overdose of effects (I play guitar as well and not so bad) and the massive trebles in his guitar tone. It is a matter of taste, ok. Stay tuned!!
