  • I made these today & they are absolutely delicious! They are a perfect snack for Fall. I used all pecans instead of the almonds and walnuts. I will definitely be making these again, thanks! =)

  • @oOShihTzuLoveOo Thanks for your wonderful feedback! I really appreciate it!

  • Thank you for the wonderful videos! Please tell me why my sugared nuts always seem to have a "gritty" texture. I followed the recipe exactly. Is that the way they are supposed to be?? Help!!

  • They should seem like the nuts are crusted over with a salty/sugary crust. I wouldn't call it "gritty," but it's not smooth, either. These will be chunky nuts when properly made.

  • I just noticed on your sidebar you have listed, one cup of butter but in your video, you say one stick of butter, which is 1/2 cup not 1 cup. Which is correct? I'm betting it is one stick of butter.

  • You're right! It is 1 stick of butter (1/2 cup). I will change that in the side bar. Thanks for alerting me!

  • I was just looking for something like this to use up all the pecans someone gave me. I'll get back to you on how they turned out. I may tweak it a bit to get a more savory, sweet taste.

  • This recipe is *delicious*--a great use for using up pecans! Feel free to add some herbs/spices, although it it terrific, as is! Thanks for your lovely comment!

  • Can you substitute cashews or maybe hazelnuts for one or two of the nuts? This looks great and would be good around a holiday. Thanks!

  • Yes, substitute any nuts that you like better--just keep the ratio 3 cups of nuts for the amount of egg white and sugar mixture. I typically think of these as holiday treats, too! Thanks for viewing!

  • I'll definitely be trying this!

  • Great! You won't be disappointed!

  • Thanks! I've been cooking for almost 50 years, and it is my biggest hobby, so I get a lot out of it, too! Thanks for your comment, and thanks for viewing!
