I prefer Kate's Bush version, but I like this cover very much. I wonder, perhaps this might even be more like Kate meant it. She originally wanted to call it 'a deal with God', but her producers wouldn't let her.

Kate's version is still very sereen, this is wilder. I like both versions for their own identity, but I am more the silent type, which is why in the end I prefer Kate's version.

I like the chorus, but the verses seem... I dunno, out of beat? Anyway, I think Placebo's cover is betetr, though if the quality of the entire song was like the chorus, this version would be pretty good IMO.

Not even a touch on Kate Bush's version, but then again, it's Kate Bush so nobody could be expected to get anywhere near her in terms of brilliance. Nice cover though, prefer it to Placebo's as it keeps closer to the original meaning.

Placebo's version is so much different to WT's, neither are rubbish, they both have different emotional takes on the song. Personally I prefer WT's because it's more of positive upbeat cover than Placebo's.
