Checking the Links made to this vid, we have found that it has been added to a ringsurf webring entitled 'exCatholics for Christ', (along with our Witchfest vid along with some from 'End Times Miseries' own Patrick Battell)
Odd that...
and a very good reason why we no longer allow this to be embedded on external sites!!
Essentially, you can put that idea down to what we've always called "the romantic notions of Victorian Gentleman Folklore collectors". It is twaddle, but people always love a bit of mystery with their Folklore thus the idea has stuck for over a century;
even Dr Who has had to fight off some possessed Morris Dancers in 'The Daemons' (1970)!!
we have records in the minster in reading referring to the purchase of bells for morris dancers dating back to the 1500s...however as all morris dancers know the origins of morris is lost
but we believe it was the peasants just doin somtim for fun.. they might aswell lol
that was so wounderfull and the musik is great i wish i could go there

I like this.
I dont like to deride people, but those 'Excatholics for Christ', calling us nutters etc... to be personally honest, I think they are the nutters.
Strap be with bells and ribbons, and prepare the whacking stick!
*dances*
