I love the orphans- Monroe and Stanwyck. They both changed their names at the drop of a hat too. Marilyn never found the acceptance she was looking for probably because she just didn't have the inner city backbone that Stanwyck seemed to have. More of a personality thing really, not a strength thing. So they wanted our acceptance and became great actresses- the best. 1 smoked like a chimney and ate stake 3 times a day, but lived to be 83. The other just died too soon. Sounds like a real family.

This video is a very touching tribute, and she, as being labeled as a sexy star, my favourite performance from her is "Don't Bother To Knock" She really blew me away with her performance in that film.

This is a masterpiece, and one of the best videos about Marilyn! I especially love the zooming effects and how the pictures have been lighted: they look dreamy.

Her words are sad, but they are reflective of how she felt. She was so gifted and intelligent, and they didn't appreciate that in her, and that caused her great grief.

The picture at 5:25 is very poignant and the music is so fitting throughout! Thank you for such a great piece of work.
