I OWN AN 07 SILVER WING. RIDING NORMALLY I GET 50-52 MPG. BUT IF I GET ON I-95 AND CRUISE AT 85 TO 95 MPH MY MPG DROPS TO ABOUT 38-40 MPG. I AM 380LBS, AND MY WING HAS NO PROBLEMS WITH MY WEIGHT. I RIDE TWO UP OFTEN AND IT DOES NOT SEEM TO AFFECT THE GAS MILEAGE AT ALL. I BELIEVE THE CVT TRANNY IS WHAT GIVES MY SILVER WING ITS POWER AND ABILITIES.
I just got a 2002 silverwing and it gets about 42MPG and I'm 6'2" / 200lbs. It does smell a bit rich but it rides great. I love the thing. It is my first street bike. Now I just need to save up a little bit to get a reevu helmet. :)
@krayziesensei Thanks for the comment. The bike rides perfect and doesn't show any rich running signs. I have a feeling one of the fuel lines or the fuel pressure reg is leaking while I'm riding.
my 2006 silver wing 600 got 46 mpg with the standard wind screen and 41 with the givi extended wind screen.. and i pass too much. tires every 4000 miles. tons of storage. the bike paid for itself in gas savings when fuel went to $4 a gallon and i had to commute 65 miles each way to work. yes - too often stop for gas. i hate deer. they killed my wing. yeah, the honda site bites.
@laslea i dont hink the Gilera is as good as the burg. do u know the major differences between the exe and the standart besides the electric windscreen?

No problem, I will make a more in depth review tomorrow, and delete this one
But I am glad you enjoyed it
Yes the sw is the best of both worlds

Very good. I am looking to buy a Silverwing, and you just showed me way more than the Honda website does about the storage.
