I would like to see a very simple, yet relatively cheap airplane. One that can be built in less than an hour (minus the time you wait for glue to dry).
Thanks! built that supernova extreme! we all want to see it fly :)
I like the idea of foam builds in the 36" to 50" wing span. Prop-n-slot, pushers, tractors, EDF, or whatever else one might ponder. I like WW1, WW2, jets, and unusual designs also. Fast planes may become an interest later, but for now I am more into slow and a bit faster, but I tend to want to fly under 50 mph most of the time. I do watch for ideas and inspiration.
Cool that you are getting that kind of speed but what will it do if you don't dive into your passes? Would it be more accurate if you start your run a little farther out make a level pass and hold it a little long so the speed is all from the motor prop battery combination and not a diving pass? Just a thought. Good job, keep those videos coming. I want one of those motors by the way!!!! jb
@vdubbub1986 Thanks for the idea. I was thinking of doing a pusher trainer too. Maybe we'll do both, the Cub style plane and a pusher trainer. Hmmm, maybe a pusher trainer that can ROG for take off would be cool.
@sam68476 The Supernova extreme is on the list to get rebuilt. I already have the EPP Foam and Electronics. Now just need to get started on it. Hopefully soon. Thanks.
Well i guess you were right about the esc timing hahaha, 120mph thats faster than the cheaper sports cars that codt like $40000 vs a plane about $300 haha. Awesome video paul im quit interested in making one haha
I like the big plane idea.I remember dave from(rcsuperpower) would spin in a circle to hand launch that one he made, even if it's not fast it look's awesome on the flyby's:) (\O
Is that thing running on gigawatts of power! man she screams. Now frank you need to put the pressure on your brother by finishing up the "sonic Boom stick" and have a little fun with a catch me if you can flight. great video guys

So it is the tail config that makes that "whoosh/roar"?
IneedWhydo 3 weeks ago
Does it really make that "woosh/screach" sound as it flies by? Sounds like a real jet.

I would like to see a large size B2 Stealth bomber perhaps something with a 70" or larger wing span. If not the B2 then a RQ 170 would be great.

VTOL! All the way, probably the most impressive build if you can get it to work. Challenging, and fun!

It is not so much the airframe (of course aerodynamics helps) it's power man... the faster you go the more inertia you have to over come

build a pusher model trainer.. that way those nose in crashes wont damage the motor.
