i have it.. im having trouble with its net connection though.. it can detect wifi signal and connect with it .. but when im already in the web trying to surf.. it says something like = cannot find remote server.. whats with that? help me pls.
I have it and it is a great phone! Internet browsing and camera are among its best features. Network settings can be a bit tricky to configure, but once you get it right it works great. I thought that the battery would last a little more, but you get two days of normal use, which is average. Overall, it is a great smartphone and now that it is getting older and cheaper, you get great features for good price. Oh, and it looks great too! Very elegant.

you cant. my opinion but i think the iphone is cooler then this phone. it prolly does ALOT more but look at the applications they looks cheap. the iphone has cool looking apps and its all in color.

not really. n95 has gps, 5 megapixles camera, and large resolution video recording, and tv out. the p1 doest have that and its camera is only 3.2 megapixles
hi all, anyone managed to get the e-mail client working? Looking to buy this model but need to be able to download from pop server also open attachments preferably opening word, excel, pdf docs. Also sending e-mail.. Have been looking at the blackberry 8100 and will make a final decision based on how well e-mail works. Blackberry seems to do a decent job! any thoughts would be appreciated. ty
I bought a N95 but traded it with a new p1 and very happy it is something like another class... more features..intelligent menus and submenus, battery life is much longer etc
just bought the nokia n95, b/c it has plenty of features and its great, but the slider has a little problem.. but overall its a great phone... but if you want to buy the P1, I recommend you to buy the P900i..

Its true that the keyboard is very hard to use, but dont forget that this phone has a hand writing recognition, so you can just use your stylus or fingers to write the letters on the screen then the letters will appear on the screen instead of typing:)
Meh, the keyboard looks awful to use compared to the p990.. p990's is distinctly seperate so you see what key your typing. And the key layout was a lot more attractive then this one. I think they should of brought the p990 look back but into a slimmer, faster, and all these new features added to it.

sony ericsson did not try to coppy the iphone...their was the sony ericsson p990...which is just a bigger version of this...their was the sony ericsson w950i...which looks exactly like this but does not hav a camera or a keyboard

...problems with DHCP and your IP + DNS IP... I have same problems sometimes - still do not know how to resolve this issue... :S Anyone?
(i usually create WiFi profile for that network and write IPs on my own... Try that)

but n95 has other disadvantages.
one disadvantage in my opinion would definatly be the phone thicknes which is crazy...i think its something like 25mm.
second would be poor battery life
but still its top mobile device for sure
