BTW his office also tried to get even more money. I paid them close to $9000 for an MRI guided injection which is ridiculous. On top of that, 6 months after a paid off the bill they sent me a statement saying I was being sent to collections for not paying my bill. I had to retrieve all my checks/numbers/amts to prove to them that I had paid my bill. His office is incompetent or they are scamming people.

Would definitely not recommend him; he is not going to take care of your problem. Rather he will identify that you have a piriformis problem, say you need surgery and charge you a tremendous amount of money your insurance won't pay for because it is not an approved procedure. I had an injection from him which he said would fail and that I would need surgery. It did and I was scheduled for surgery but thought better of it. I am very thankful that I did.

For the love of god Dr. Filler, you could do so good for so many people yet I hear on health boards every day how they cannot come to see you because of EXTREME costs ($100,000+ ) and you are very difficult with insurance. CHANGE THIS SO WE CAN GET HELP!!!!!!! In the mean time check out Dr. Hal Martin online and at the piriformissyndrome yahoo group. He does it ARTHROSCOPICALLY and has just as good as a success rate, without the insane costs. MORE DOCTORS START DOING THIS PROCEDURE PLEASE!!!

This is the most amazing video I have ever seen on the medical history of imaging - and now the new technology to see nerves. Dr Filler is saving so many lives and giving back a hope and a future for so many people that thought their life was over - including my fiance! THANK YOU!

Has anyone here been a patient of Dr. Filler? I am considering going to see him, but I live in Hawaii and I suffer from back pain as well as neurological problems. I have called his office but I can never speak to him.
He seems to be a world-renown neurosurgeon, but I am wondering if I should go for treatment with him. I would sincerely appreciate any comments or advice you could give me concerning your experience as his patient. You may send me an email if you wish. Thank you.
