i'm a simple person who could not afford such concerts with fabulous orchestra.but when i found this on you tube..wow all i have to do is just close my eyes and listen..it;s like you're there attending a live concert.so beautiful and soothing to the soul..thanks up loader :).
@PintoPassion Thanks Pinto. That is much as I thought, although I believe saxons came from Germany (Saxony) and only saxons that settled in the Land of Angels were Anglo-saxons or Angles. Some Scottish people claim that Scotland is 'God's Country'. However, most of them choose to live in England.
@Brambleshadow11 greensleeves, has probably been, in, a whole bunch of movies. probably, not that many, after the 1960's. it would have, i think, by then, been seen, as a little out of step, for the cinema of the day, [not to mention the times], with the exception, of using it, as satire, to poke fun, at something, or somebody. then again, i'm no big cinema geek,so i'm just speculating. good question though.....................
101 strings orchestra? I have 3 disks of Christmas music by 101 strings orchestra and they are exactly like this!!! and btw go to hell and fukc you one person that hates this
omg i am so happy that my orchestra is playing this for the winter concert. it is so beautiful but the thing that suck is that we had a chair test over a part in it and i got last chair AGAIN!!!
i listen to that music last year and makes me to walk alone in the beach on morning or at night. imaging that a shadow knight walks alone to go into unknown horizon to nowhere so he can be free away from people.
I used to prance around to this when I was seven. I'd make believe the prince I loved was waiting for me and at 1:32 the villain would come in. Thanks for the trip. lol
gawd I enjoyed this song soooo much when we played it this year in band. percussion really didn't have a part in it but it was so nice to hear the band :) so pretty...
I am playing this right now, and I was so excited when I found out that I was playing this. When I heard this piece the first I was very very impressed :)
thanks for this!

@Lemongravy1971: England is derived from "Land of the Angles" (Engla Land) as in Angles and Saxons. Angles originally came from Germany. :)

The Italian dude was Antonio Canova's & the statue is called "Psyche Revived by Cupid's Kiss"
MrJamesRWhite 3 months ago
"England" means angel (possibly). So any and all angels are English and always have been an so will be unto eternity. Not French.
